  10. thanx maureen
  11. is there a discount when ordering in bulk from them?
  12. coral idea is a good place to start. coralidea.com
  13. yes this what i mean. i have never kept anthelia so i would not have thought of that but i would consider it a weed. quick proliferation doesnt mean invasive unless its a very aggressive coral around other corals like a galaxea. green star polyps are a weed and very aggressive. i mean for this to be a thread where people can come and look up their corals to see if they are particularly dangerous. xenia is invasive but not aggressive so you just need to trim but yellow polyps are aggressive.
  14. i recently had a conversation about this and how it would be prudent to post a listing of these kinds of corals (ie yellow polyps) and a bit of info in case you choose to keep them (ie seperate them on a rock). please post
  15. cool keep um coming

  17. no problem, just put me first in line for a frag. welcome to the coral elite club
  18. the social was fun. i got some great pieces. i will take pictures when i get back in town as i hope they will be open by then. i got a scolymia that is already eating. glad i could help eric. nice to see some new faces.
  19. if it is ick you will need to take him out as well and treat him in a seperate tank. did he eat yet. garlic will help with his immune system during treatment. hopefully its not lymphocistis. you will need to run the tank at exactly 1.009 sg for several weeks to kill it.
  20. it is impatience. it takes a sand bed a couple of months to truly become "active". besides no matter what you do it takes time to lower nitrates.
  21. i would also like to know since eggcrate which is what i have seems to be insufficient. did you just cut the screen with pliers to fit the openings or something of that nature? i was thinking of getting another big piece of eggcrate and cutting it to fit such that the holes will be half as big. does anyone half a fool proof method of some sort?
  22. i gotta find one or two so the male doesnt lose his color. he is a supermale now so i want to keep it that way

  24. yesterday the female of my flame wrasse pair jumped because i was too lazy and stupid to cover a small opening that had been fine for a year now. for my complacency i have been punished and i will no better next time. you always end up learning the hard way in this hobby
