Make sure the screen on the tank is really tight.

my hood is completely sealed.  so worst thing that happens is they hop in the overflow.

Unfortunately I found the Choati leopard dead on the sand.  today is a rough day

Well woke up to my kutier leopard dead on my power head....  Been going strong for 3 weeks  eating frozen and pellets.  looked him over and no signs of disease or injury from fish aggression.  Nitrates undetectable, nitrites undetectable, and ammonia undetectable on salifert test kits.   Guess its time to do an ICP test to see if there is something like elevated lithium.

Well just some small updates:

Got a show size elegance. been watching my sps slowly grow.  Solved my undetectable nitrates issue and its now holding steady at 5ppm.  Realized my phosphates were in the 0.4ppm range so starting to run GFO to bring that down. My sea urchin  found a rubber band in my tank.  Got a really nice blasto from Lynn. And over all the fish seem to be doing good and being healthy even though i lost those 3 leopard wrasses.

Well it's been a hot min since I have updated my build thread.  So I figured out what killed the 2 leopard wrasses.  Its my Moyer's Leopard.  He is one agressive fish. Going to be working on getting him out so he can move to something in the 300-600g range.  Finally finished my stand skin after 8 months.   Added a Avast Marine Kalk Stirrer.  Ditched the Jebao Crossflow pumps.  they are complete junk.  4-5 months in one died and the other 2 are leaking voltage.  Swapped to 2 Vortech MP-40's and in the process of getting 2 more.

Got 2 Blue Gudgeons, a pudding wrasse, a second royal gramma, a yellow tail damsel, 18 peppermint shrimp, and 24 emerald crabs.

Currently dealing with Aiptasia (Came in on an Aqua SD frag), bubble algae (Came in on a hammer i got from another Hobbyist), and cyano (Probably waited too long to change my GFO or not enough flow)

Well again it has been WAYYYY too long since an update.  So my tank has gotten much worse until recently,  Had a Trident fail on me and i didn't have notifications set up for it.  Had 2 MP-40's fail on me and had to RMA them.  Still waiting for one to come back.  Lost my acans, my show size elegance, and a few blastos.  I had the realization that the 0 water change is complete BS. The Triton method is a bunch of BS.  So going back to doing water changes, using Fritz RPM salt and the tank is starting to look better and better. May take a stab at adding some more acros this summer.

I have a new family member!  Piper! My new little girl.  She has been eating up a lot of my time as well as a new side project to help with the reef keeping.
