sigel7 January 24, 2019 January 24, 2019 Is Travertine tile reef safe? Looking for 3x3 or 4x4 tile to grow frags on.
gmerek2 January 25, 2019 January 25, 2019 It’s safe a lot of people have mentioned they use it to grow acropora on
elbowdeep88 January 25, 2019 January 25, 2019 I used to buy the 1 foot squares of tavertine because they were essentially 144 1 inch squares or 36 2" squares for $15. And they had some color to them. Leave them sit in a bucket of water with a heater for a few days and the glue comes right off. The squares are thick and heavy which was nice for taller frags.
Annap729 January 25, 2019 January 25, 2019 Trav is just limestone, so hey why not Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Jayshaw October 26, 2019 October 26, 2019 Hey, Are these tiles are unbreakable if kept long time in the water? A few months ago, when the construction of my house fronted was going on, my neighbour suggested to call an expert and get the patio tiles installed from the Tile store in Sacramento from the Zothex Flooring. And so we did the same, I really appreciate the work done by the experts, and left no doubts in behind.
ReefAddict October 26, 2019 October 26, 2019 What kind of tiles are @gws3 and @YHSublime using for their frags?
YHSublime October 26, 2019 October 26, 2019 Just soak them in RO for a few days, you’ll be good to go.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
gws3 October 26, 2019 October 26, 2019 alternative reef tiles are the best in the hobby in my experience.
