What, your Goby doesn't eat bristle worms?

Posted Image

Just figured if snap a quick shot. Guess this explains my lack of bristle worms... :)

Odd. But if I squint just right, it looks to me like he's smoking a cigar.

Only for the spawning fish :)

that is so amazing!

A quick google search showed me that this is something a lot of people with all different types of goby witness...I never ever would have imagined it.....

thanks for sharing...crazy cool

and Tom you are right...if you don't click on it and enlarge it does look like a cigar LOL

Great shot!

I've never seen my Randall Goby eating a bristle worm. Unfortunately since he paired up with my pistol he's shy and takes off under the rocks and hides or I'd try and target feed him some so he would get the taste in his mouth.

I was surprised the first time I saw it! This time, I remembered to grab my phone. Pretty interesting what we find sometimes!

Nice photo, never heard of gobys eating bristle worms.

My cleaner shrimp and wrasses will eat any bristle worm dumb enough to come out.  I think it's because I used to feed black worms.  The cleaner shrimp twirls the bristle worms round and round and slowly dismantles it as he's doing it.

I actually saw a fireworm sitting next to my randalls goby last night lol My female clown likes to eat baby bristleworms. Great photo!!
