jacobB89 October 7, 2013 October 7, 2013 180 glass RR tank not sure of brand 2 corner overflows.ASM G2 with broke pump mag 9.540 gallon breeder with 1 hole drilled.100lbs of live rock give or take.all the plumbing which ill probably redo.250watt heaterHave not gotten a ton done as I do not have a stand yet so really need to wait for that to get all the plumbing plans done.Cleaned the tank and scraped paint off the side glass.tested the pumps mag 9.5 works sedra 3500 for skimmer not so much.So my to do list goes*Need to get a stand built.*new pump for skimmer*some more live rock*live sand*powerheads*plumbing parts*lightingFor the stuff that have laying around that I will probably be using.Mag18Berliner WD-125 Wet/Dry Filter Well thats how it started but since some has changed and that was just copied over from the other site ill update some stuff. Sold skimmer,wet/dry and mag 9.5 still waiting to sell the 40gallon breeder. Picked up a 125 gallon tank and stand for cheap and sold the stand. Going to be using the 125 gallon as a sump(have to figure out how i want that to be). Also going to use a Diablo DC10500 pump instead of the mag 18 and just keep that as a spare. Then I am trying to find a big skimmer to use since I sold the asm g2. the 125 I picked up next to the 180. \ Here is the idea for the stand that i want to do so I can have more storage and on the bottom more room for pumps/dosing or ATO.
jacobB89 October 7, 2013 Author October 7, 2013 Dont make fun of my MS paint drawing lol I am no good in CAD programs
jacobB89 October 22, 2013 Author October 22, 2013 Got some new parts for the tank last week nothing to crazy going on still just grabbing stuff as I see good deals. older tunze ATO works perfect love this thing. 2 single BRS media reactors and some free mud the guy gave me. MP 40w and WP40 great deal on both should be pretty good for water movement.
jacobB89 November 17, 2013 Author November 17, 2013 (edited) Nothing huge but more progress is starting just dropped a decent amount of money on a skimmer and a doser. 3 pump doser marine magic and a Dcs300 going to be starting the stand next week i hope dropping off some materials to a friends shop tomorrow skimmer is on far end Edited November 17, 2013 by jacobB89

jacobB89 December 17, 2013 Author December 17, 2013 so probably will be getting more done on the stand tomorrow. Looking around at paints to use It is going to be black looking at this for the inside and get a flat or semi gloss for outsidehttp://www.lowes.com/pd_219207-90-207006_1z0yye7+1z117hw+1z117m1+1z13ywj__?productId=3200859&Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&pl=1¤tURL=%3FNs%3Dp_product_qty_sales_dollar%7C1%26page%3D1&facetInfo=Oil|Water|Rust-Oleumhttp://www.lowes.com/pd_219207-90-207006_1z0yye7+1z117hw+1z117m1+1z13ywj__?productId=3200859&Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&pl=1¤tURL=%3FNs%3Dp_product_qty_sales_dollar%7C1%26page%3D1&facetInfo=Oil|Water|Rust-Oleum

jacobB89 January 5, 2014 Author January 5, 2014 been a while since last update but lot has changed not more regular old stand and tank now.... Building a small fish room( better then nothing) so tank will now be in the wall! So I have been working on that with the help of friends this week. Still more to go hope to get the tank in soon and start electrical. Still have not decided on overflows want to rip mine out and do a calfo or something similar to monkiboys. Also skimmer came in the other day after tons of shipping issues! so that how its looking now. used behr basement and garage sealer first few pictures were 1 coast last was after 3 coats turned out well. Then I am going to put down some indoor outdoor carpet.
jacobB89 January 5, 2014 Author January 5, 2014 Looks good. Any ventilation ideas for the room? Have not thought about that 100% yet. ill have to get a picture to show how it will look, but our basement we just ripped out the drop ceiling that we did not like. Now it is open rafters that we painted and put in recessed lighting. So the room would only go up to the beam and would have about 10" in between each beam to vent into the room. maybe that's enough?
jacobB89 January 5, 2014 Author January 5, 2014 Picture to give you refrance to the basement and the space in between the room and fish room.
Shoelace January 5, 2014 January 5, 2014 I have a tank room that seems similar in size to yours and it can get humid in there. Maybe you could consider some sort of fan/vent to the outside or at least a room to room air exchanger to the rest of the basement.
smallreef January 5, 2014 January 5, 2014 You can get a window air exchange unit to fit that basement window I bet.... It's looking really good though...
jacobB89 January 5, 2014 Author January 5, 2014 Yea we will see how humid it gets in there if need be I'll look into exchange unit. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
