Cliff Puckstable September 21, 2013 September 21, 2013 I looking through some old pics of my tank, and wow have my corals grown. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't have the pics to see it for myself. This picture was taken around the fall meet of 2012. . All of these were grown under the same DIY LED's in this thread http://wamas.org/forums/topic/50683-1st-diy-led-lighting/ These were taken today This is a frag pack I got from marinap around 7/2012 Today
Cliff Puckstable September 21, 2013 Author September 21, 2013 You can actually see growth from 4 months ago when I updated that diy thread.
monkiboy September 21, 2013 September 21, 2013 dude - that is some awesome growth. nice work and thanks for the share!
GraffitiSpotCorals September 21, 2013 September 21, 2013 Awesome! Looks really nice, I would love to see some top downs.
Cliff Puckstable September 21, 2013 Author September 21, 2013 Thanks guys! It made my morning seeing Mr. Sps post in my thread I wish I had a better camera to get some decent pics. If your think your corals aren't growing, take a few pictures and compare in a few months. It's hard to tell how much growth you're getting when you look at the tank everyday. I can't believe how small my pink lemonade was when I first got it. I'm trying not to frag anything and just see how much I can get them to grow. I have a feeling I'm going to break a bunch of stuff in the move over to the 120 though.
monkiboy September 21, 2013 September 21, 2013 the shots from the top look awesome, sir. there's no subsitute for that angle
Cliff Puckstable September 22, 2013 Author September 22, 2013 It definitely looks more "filled in" from the top. I may need to get one of those look down boxes, and a decent camera.
swimmatte September 22, 2013 September 22, 2013 Looking good bro. The tank looked spectacular when I was there the other day!
Jason Rhoads September 24, 2013 September 24, 2013 these are great. Just wait till next year ! Dig up this thread and wow us with some more before and after pics!
Cliff Puckstable August 26, 2014 Author August 26, 2014 (edited) Thanks for reminding me. I can't believe another year went by. I had a gha out break when i went to the 200dd. I tried the peroxide and almost killed everything. THe only casualty was the $500 efflo. I would like to get another piece but have nowhere to put it. I'm running 4 ocean revive units (100% blue 75%white). I don't feed my corals anything. I'm too lazy. I have a bunch of fish that seem to be doing the trick. Cliff Puckstable August 26, 2014 Author August 26, 2014 Not a sps but my new favorite coral. I noticed a small bubble on the side of the rock. i'm hoping it's a baby.
lnevo September 7, 2014 September 7, 2014 I would say 1 year 2 months on everything except the duncan at 2 years and the orange digi, somewhere between those.
