Hello.

I am new to the hobby and new to reefkeeping too. I have already made some mistakes but i have been reading quite a bit. I am excited to connect with other aquarium enthusiasts in the area.

Welcome to the club.

The mistakes are just a learning experience, we all make them.

Welcome to Wamas and a great hobby

I would suggest putting your location in your profile so if you ever need help those nearby can offer and know whereabouts you are (im not talking address just city)

as others have said ask away, people always have anwsers and links to anwsers that are great to use to make your own decision

What size tank did you get?

Welcome to the club!

yay! I feel welcome. ;-)

I have a 120 drilled tank with a sailfin tang (sunny) , 1 pj cardnal (Pj Pal Hal) , a peppermint shrimp, a cleaner shimp, a piece of cup coral and some mushrooms. I have a 60 gallon hex with a hob aquaclear turned fuge and a canister filter. I have some macro algae in there and a Seahorse my mommy got me. His name is Sea Biscuit and I am not sure his exact species as i am afraid he was wild caught.

I just removed the crushed coral that came with the tanks and put in a deep sand bed. I got pool filter sand because i just could not afford the aragonite.

I will also echo the welcomes :)

Welcome to the board. I'm pretty new to WAMAS but have been with CMAS for a few years.

There are a lot of reefers around E.C and I'm down in Columbia.

If you want some orange or green monti cap frags or kenya tree frags let me know!

Hi Karavak

I would love some frags! how generous of you :-) PM me what your schedule is like maybe we can get together for lunch.
