PLEASE post on the board when you recieve a shipment or at least tell us when you will recieve shipments; for your sake and ours!

It could be as simple as "New shipment in today" or with more specifics like where it came from, if it's fish/coral/invert heavy, and if you want to get fancy-a full list of what came in, prices, and/or pictures.

I try to make an effort to go to LFS's right after shipments in order to have the best selection, or at least SOME selection. Too often I've just decided to stop by an LFS and found a very limited selection which, in my opinion, is not worth the trouble if it's more than 15 minutes out of my way. For this reason I have stopped making an effort to go to some of the stores further out of my way unless I know they have stuff in stock.

Putting a quick post up on the board takes no more than 5 minutes and, in my opinion/experience, is likely to generate customers.

I could not agree more. I am almost always disappointed to drive for half an hour out of my way ( and since I don't own a car, I borrow it from a friend) only to find out that they don't have anything at the LFS.

SOme lfs's if you ask them will let you know they're regularly scheduled deliveries. The majority of places are going to receive on tues, wed, or thurs.

But yes I would also like to see this info posted.

We receive a large fish/invert shipment typically every Tuesday, unless following a holiday weekend, in which we receive on Wednesday. Today we are picking up our shipment. I will follow up with a post of all the new items soon.

We also will receive ORA and some other fish/inverts typically on Thursdays as well as new corals.

we are making an effort as well, and trying to make it worth while to have a paypal for customers to hold a piece based on a pic.

thank you for the constructive critique. just some deliveries they come in and go out before i can even respond to pm's.

ive seen some items from our store that were fragged less than a week later sell for more, why?.... apic is worth a thousand words. im still trying to get a hang of shooting under 20k w/o processing. look for more soon!

We just got a shipment in, stock list will be updated as usual by Friday afternoon.

Your best bet for BRK is to save this link and check it every Friday. In the top right corner it will tell you when it was last updated, which is usually by Friday afternoon, but sometimes Thursday nights. We work really hard to keep this updated, and yes we miss one from time to time, or there may be a week that we didnt get anything in, take advantage of this option, and our hard work to keep it updated.

The link is always the same and will be updated by tomorrow.

On your stocklist, what do the single and double asterisks mean next to some of the fish?

On your stocklist, what do the single and double asterisks mean next to some of the fish?

You may want to ask this question in their forum as it's off-topic and John may not come back and see it.

For all those interested: Given my maintenance schedule, my shipment dates can be sporatic. I try to get new livestock in bi-weekly. Im also a livestock "gopher" so special orders and group buys are encouraged as well.

usually just to highlight something that people have been asking for and we havnt been able to get for a while. Sometimes it could be a rare fish, or an expensive fish, either way its usually somthing that we are excited to have avilable.
