FearTheTerps March 2, 2011 March 2, 2011 With last month's topic I wanted to have everyone work on their photography skills trying to take an accruate representaion of what you see in your tanks. This month I wanted to continue to expand the skills of taking good photos, As I consider POTM to be a a good place to practice and share your photography skills. This Month's Topic will be .... Macro Photography. For those that may not know what Macro Photography is, it is close-up photography of usually very small subjects, where the subject is usually life size or larger on the image. This works perfectly for our tanks, as some of the most interesting things in our tanks are the small-tiny things that you dont see until you stare at your tank for hours on end. Your photo can be of anything, something interesting growing in your tank, polyp extension of your corals, or a fish poking its head out of a crevice in the rockwork, or a macro photo of macro algae. GUIDELINES Submissions must be made by March 23 Photo size: At least 800 x 600 ONE submission per person. To be included in the voting, your submission must also have the following information: Submitters: Name, BBName Location: where it's taken (who's tank, ocean, etc) Camera Used: (if not available please say unknown) Subject: (what title/picture name/picture of)
