Zprface April 9, 2005 April 9, 2005 I would like to join the party as well and get a 1/2 block of Cyclop-eze. Please. Linda
OUsnakebyte April 9, 2005 April 9, 2005 I'd like to join the food party, and I would also like to get a 1/2 block of cyclops. Anyone want to split?
eddi April 10, 2005 April 10, 2005 ok folks, here is the current list of participants in the food making event. 1) Beltway Bandit 2) Lee Stearns 3) Eriks 4) Clownfish4 5) Rocko198 (maybe) 6) Dchild (maybe) 7) Scott711 8) Mogurnda 9) Garyl 10) Xeon (maybe) 11) Jarosh 12) Craby 13) Tom (maybe) 14) Zprface 15) Ousnakebyte 16) me I have never had a party this big so I am not sure about how much to get, but I am willing to take a stab at it. Better more than less. Clownfish4 had also volunteered to host, if some people are closer to him maybe we can have two groups. I live in Fairfax, right off 29 and Stringfellow Rd, behind Fair Lakes and 10 minutes from Fair Oaks Mall. I have a number of oriental markets close to me that carry all kind of fish, crustaceans and the like. We are placing a frozen food order, we now only need things like Spirulina, Selcon, Golden Pearls etc. If you are willing to assist in going to pick up all the ingredients and prepare for the event early that morning, send me a PM and I will coordinate with everyone. Beltway Bandit had suggested a 9 or 10 start time. That's a little too early to inhale the aroma of blended fish food for me, but if everyone wants to start early I'll wear a clothes pin on my nose.
Guest clownfish4 April 10, 2005 April 10, 2005 I live less then ten minutes from Springfield Mall. Probably be easier just to do everything at Eddi's. I also agree that 9-10 is way too early to get started.

Just how big are these block? I may need some storage assistance once the order comes in.
HowardofNOVA April 10, 2005 April 10, 2005 Hey Gang, Put me in for this! I got a big blender to use, a small food processor (No wife to worry about here) SAW-SAW to cut up frozen pieces if we need it. I still have about 2 cups of Cyclopeeze left over from last buy, but would like to order a piece, Mysis sounds good if we have it available in smaller sizes, etc. So is 7May 9am the timeframe? Howard
dbartco April 11, 2005 April 11, 2005 I go to LA for a few days and you try to have this fun without me! Count me in for some goodies for the foodmaking party. I'd also like to get in with a block of mysis. Or a 1/2 block if the totals come up odd. Thanks guys.
Tom April 11, 2005 April 11, 2005 I have some dry pure Spirulina to contribute. I will bring about 1/4 lb. --Tom
ErikS April 11, 2005 April 11, 2005 Okay Howard, I have most every tool known - what the h*** is a SAW-SAW?
HowardofNOVA April 11, 2005 April 11, 2005 This is a SAW-SAW aka: Reciprocating Saw: Tried to do a link and kept showing cabinets, so here is a pic! I might be out traveling to PA that weekend, but will lend out my blender if that happens. Lee said I don't need to bring the saw...SAW Howard
Guest Siders April 11, 2005 April 11, 2005 1/4 block of cyclopeeze and i'll chip in for the food party. Siders
mogurnda April 11, 2005 April 11, 2005 I'm out, not interested. KMA 29334 This means no cyclopeez?
cowrie April 11, 2005 April 11, 2005 We are interested. Can bring whatever is needed (not octopus or squid!). Bob and Tamie
eddi April 11, 2005 April 11, 2005 Eric, sorry to see you drop out. Is anyone else willing to coordinate the frozen food order?
Zprface April 12, 2005 April 12, 2005 Eric, sorry to see you drop out. Is anyone else willing to coordinate the frozen food order? 29383 I am willing to coordinate the order, and I don't have a problem storing it. I can't front all of the cost though. There is enough for the Canada order, but shipping is almost as much as the Cyclopeze. $135 and change for the shipping. I'll give Jhemco a call tomorrow to check their shipping costs. Linda
cowrie April 12, 2005 April 12, 2005 Mike, Did you find anyone to split the Cyclopeez with? We are interested in some. Tamie and Bob
Caribbean Jake April 12, 2005 April 12, 2005 Sounds like a party building up... count me in for some food making. Jacob
dchild April 12, 2005 April 12, 2005 No cyclops for me, but I'm in for May 7. It sounds like there are many here more knowledgeable than I so hopefully I can just mail someone a check? I'm willing to bring some beer or maybe a pizza... I see doug is coming, perhaps I can brew up a keg of homemade beer?
