  1. Hi, I'd like to thank WAMAS to organize this wonderful event. My kids and friends had a very good time visiting the exhibits. My kids love the giant Octopus and very happy to see the feeding demo. Special thanks to Tammy, Mike, and Gary who work hard to make it happen . I'd just want to express my appreciation here in this message board. --Tom
  2. MAG 9.5 if you need it. --Tom
  3. Hi, I happen to have a sick female clown fish in my tank now. Instead of starting a new thread, I am writing to see if I can get some help. The clown was swimming belly up for the past two days and now she is face up in the right corner of the tank. I have a pair of clown for about 6 months now along with a 3" yellow tang, Eibli angel, Bangaii cardinal in a 58g tank. I noticed her tail got torn a bit a week ago, and was kind of sluggish swimming. I have been searched on the Internet, but still not sure what it is going on? The other clown seems to be healthy. Any help will be appreciated. --Tom
  4. Mike, Email sent for Green Star Polys if they are still available. --Tom

  7. Hi Tang-away, It is my pleasure to help the reefer here in the forum and I don't want anything in return. Believe me, it is not so easy that it happens you need the pump that I just have it in hand. Good luck with your tank, --Tom
  8. Hi, I have a Mag 9.5 sitting in the garage as my backup pump. You can have it until you receive your new pump. I live in Sterling, and work in Tyson's. I can bring it to the office if that will be convenient for you. PM me if you nee the pump from me. --Tom

  12. Folta, It sounds I still need two type of cleaner. One for diatom and the other one for coraline. If I clean the tank regularly, might be able to avoid coraline buildup. Thanks for your comments. --Tom

  14. Hi Folta, Is that the same as Mag-Float type of cleaner? I was about to order a Mag-Float magnetic glass cleaner . Now I saw your post, and think it may be better getting the one you are using. Tow questions though, 1. How thick of glass it supports? I am running a 58g tank. 2. Any sign of scratching the glass? Thanks, --Tom
  15. Hi, I second Phil. It was a nice experience for me to attend a "stinky" party while enjoying Eddie's incredible tanks. Thank Eddie and everyone who make the party successful. --Tom

    Sump Design

Hi jeff, Could you post a pic for your sump? I am in the process of building one myself. Not sure which one to go? 20L or 20H? Since 20H will give me more room under the cabinet for other electrical stuff. Thanks, --Tom

  22. I just got some Chaeto from Tri BUi, but did not see any critters in it. I do have a bottle of phytoplankton laying around, so will dose some. But there is no easy way to tell if it works or not.
  23. Hi, I have about 30-40lb LR in my tank. As I can see carefully, there are small critters in and out of the small holes on the LR. Since the tank is only 4 months old, I am thinking getting some of those creature and put them in the tank when the light is off. I have found some on-line stores carry those as a package, but can not find it anymore. Any LFS or any WAMAS members are willing to share or sell? Thanks, --Tom
