  1. the junk should demonstrate the flow I'll let the culurpa in the fuge in the sump collect all that. it was clear until i messed with the wave setting and started dumping water oput of the sides of the tank. silly me.
  2. I was cleaning my power heads and while cleaning I remembered I had a wp-60 in the garage new in the box. So i stuck it in on the lowest setting and did a pulse. Grant it my tank maintenance sucks and had a lot of cyano. Now its blowing everywhere lol. is this to much for a softy tank? The fish seem to be enjoying it. https://youtu.be/R0rlHgiP9RQ

  11. In a weird way I kind if like it. Under blue LEDs it fluoresces a little. And I think it makes it look more natural. I do have a phosban reactor and some phosphate sponge I guess it couldn't hurt actually using it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. so I am getting this bloom never had it before. I realize my phosphates are probably high from my too off water so until I get a new set of filters what would eat this. I have a sailfin that's it for algal eaters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. IO is an industry standard probably for the price. But reef crystals have more of the good stuff, even if you dose you will be ahead if the game if you forget to dose.

  16. I have the it 2080 I left it to the default so it follows a solar cycle kind of. At 6am moon lights kick on and slowly progress until full spectrum then ramps down to adding with moon light at midnight then shuts off till 6 am. And if you can design your own spectrum (arrangement if lights and color temp if you want) but it takes longer to get them. I have a d120 that is adjustable on my cube that I have totally blue like actinics and then the full kicks on and then off at a certain time back to actinics then off. Of course with anything the corals may have to adjust to the new lights but I like mine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. welcome back dave! i have the evergrow fixtures and am happy with them. every now and then ERC has a group buy or some one may be selling theirs that they dont quite like. i even have one of the chinese fixtures from ebay that works really well on my cube. there are a lot of mixed reviews about LEDs vs MH but i love mine. very little heat and good growth especially with softies. i have seen some people ad t5s because the leds dont have reflectors that bounce around the light like t5 or mh so stoneys kind of brown out on the underside while the top has good color. HTH
  18. anyone still using the old brown tunze powerheads? are parts even available for them?

  23. That's the only way I could get it to work from my phone when I'm not hooked to the Wi-fi. One uses the apex's actual 10.0.0.23 address and one uses my computer's IP Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Ok I'm late to the game but I figured out if you want to see your dashboard app outside of your home network you'll have to set up port forwarding and use your computers IP address . In iPhone app you can set up 2 programs with different IP addresses to pull it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
