My friend has had this tank since I took it down.  He must have added something with bubble algae, and made no effort to get rid of it.

 

I told him just clean the glass and powerhead and let it be.  Back wall looks kind of cool... haha

I love that tank.  Should make it an emerald crab theme tank like trockafella suggested.  You could write a paper on what definitively does or does not eat bubble algae.

He added two emeralds and they died.  I don't think he acclimated them properly.  He is having his third kid this week so he is not concerned.

 

3 kids ages 1, 2, and 3... bubble algae is not even on the to do list.

Yikes.  Almost irish twins. 

 

Two seems like enough to me, but my friend with 5 tells me that all kid related life changes happen up to child 3.  After 3 you can just toss 4-10 on the pile and let them catch the scraps at dinner. 8)

I think the led's killed the crabs and caused the algae.
