Gadgets March 30, 2008 Author March 30, 2008 Of course the craftsmanship could be better, but I think it looks great based on what I paid for it. If I had the cash I would have spent double on a miracles. They did a pretty good job on the silicone. I think the edges could have been polished and finished better, but I'm not too concerned with it. I also think the overflow box is bigger than I anticipated. I should of gone with just a single hole instead of two and opted for a smaller box. :( otherwise, I feel that the tank looks great! Now I have to wait three weeks to fill it up.
danskim April 3, 2008 April 3, 2008 Tank looks good. Yeah, the overflow looks a tad big, but it's not that bad. I look forward to some updates.
ReeferMan April 3, 2008 April 3, 2008 IMO you could fix the overflow if you want to. Just remove the glass and either get one cut or have the existing glass cut on the one side and resilicone

I'm just gonna leave it be and let some nice stags grow out and hide it.

As many tanks as glasscages has built it's likely they're getting much better with the silicone, looks good to me - can't see any slop.

ErikS April 7, 2008 April 7, 2008 Egads! Plywood & pocket joints? No, that won't do...........you need some lumber, a few 8x10"s...preferably 10x10"s, 30 or so 6x6"s - then maybe it will be safe Seriously, looks very nice!
