Mmm tastey. What are your plans for the wires from the Tunzes?

Run the cords around the back

Can't you just use that clear coat paint and paint the cords? Then they'd be clear and you wouldn't even see the cords.

Thanks for the ideas!

UPDATE

After going through removing acro crabs and all that crap to dip new corals and keep them alive. I still got red bugs. :( So I did an intercepter treatment last night. All is well and many of the corals are showing much better polyp extension.

Got my fan today. It pushes a good amount of air, but I think I should of went with the 4 fan version for a 4ft tank.

It's a Profilux fan. You can get them from Cherrycorals.com

They are expensive, but really quiet. It cost me $150!!! They are designed for the Profilux controller, but can be used w/ an ACIII for on/off operation. That is why they are so expensive, the fan speed can be controlled, all aluminum construction, and some other perks i can't think of.

  • 2 weeks later...

I setup my frag tank a couple days ago and moved over a lot of corals in order to clean up the display. Here is the latest tank shot.

What is the red coral(?) in the middle, spreading on the rock? I gotta get a frag of that. Are they red Zoas?

I really like the improvement! VERY nice reef!

what kind of pump are you using to get that crazy turbulence in the second pic?

What bulb are you using over your frag tank?

i'm using two eco-mods on MJ 900s. one on the front left and another on the back right. I'm using a 8 month old radium on the frag tank. on the old icecap ballast.
