  1. How did it go? Earlier this year something similar happened to me - i wiped my eye with my hands covered in zoanthid slime. I was sent to a specialist who checked for scratches in the eye and told me to flush constantly. He said if it happens again and it burns to seek professional assistance.
  2. I think we are close to the 101 ;-)
  3. Thanks for the compliments! I posted this video as I’m working on separating the anemones from the rest of the set up. There are times when they get shredded by the power heads and it drives us nuts, horribly worried and kills other corals – starting with the SPS
  4. Yes of course! They grow like all anemones; these are the ones that are propagating for me.
  5. I don’t think so, as the lemon drops are a little more dull, this yellow is very intense- it’s hard to capture their spark in camera.
  6. The system is 300 gallons total. The anemones are housed in a tank that is 48”x24” with T5 lighting. I use carbon whenever it seems like the tank needs it.
  7. Sharing a video of my anemones!
  8. If the GSP does not make it let me know and I can bring a "frag" for you to the meeting
  9. The acan is has more flesh- let’s call this meat. The Acan is the meatiest of all three , the echinata has about ¼ of the flesh of the acan, the favia’s skeleton is only covered with flesh, it does inflate but never as thick as the other two. Oh and the acan has distinct polyps. If you want to see the difference between the acan and favia feel free to swing by- I’m in Woodbridge.
  10. I would be taking pictures of EVERYTHING in the tank with that kind of zoom
  11. This is a great!!!! Is this standalone or is it connected to a controller?
  12. Rotifer cultures are easy to keep but for me if was very annoying to have to keep the culture alive while my fish were not breeding.
  13. That is very cute, however I would discourage it if possible. I had my clowns host a gigas clam, and then a crocea till.......
  14. Looks like a stylophora to me. If the damaged area has not gotten bigger, it will recover. Howerver I would frag it off, worse case scenerio you have a back up frag.
  15. I was cleaning my tank and took a couple seconds to snap this pic and thought I would share.
