  2. Very cool!!
  3. yeah, I kind of got that feeling too...
  4. I went with a guy in Pa who was selling frags as well. This guy used FedEx Ground overnight, (might as well have used USPS, about the same service). The 6 frags I ordered ended up somewhere other than my house, as they showed delivered at 11am that day (in July). Found them the next morning at my door with a note from the person they got delivered to by mistake. To my surprise, everything lived! Total of 2 days bagged sitting in the July sun for a full day...
  5. Interesting setup! Very crafty, nicely done!
  6. Pretty amazing! That thing is huge! I can only imagine the stink coming off that thing, since it died of natural causes...
  7. I'm jealous! One of my favorite parts of the hobby is setting up! I agree, details?
  8. Thanks for letting me know!!!
  9. I'd be there! I drive through Frederick 5 days a week, so I'll say you have my support.
  10. Apologies for the second post, moderator(s) please delete as necessary. I suck...

  13. Really nice setup! Very clean! You're making me want to revisit the underside of my tank...
  14. Thanks! I appreciate it. Once I get some more growth, I'd love to trade frags! Hindsight being 20/20, I definitely should have gone that route on my Solana, but I'm trying to keep it old school doing mainly softies. I'm even running to original halide diso ball for retro looks.
  15. Looks like nice rock!!
  16. Hey Marc! You're not far from me at all! I'll definitely look you up when I finally get something to trade! Right now, I just have various leather frags...
  17. Beautiful setup!! I am definitely in on some trades, although the majority of my stuff is still a bit small... Would definitely like to swing by sometime down the road to see your tank in person! Really nice!
  18. Well I guess it's taken me 2 years to find this club, as that's about how long I've been in the hobby. . Thanks for the kind words! As far as anything I'm particularly proud of... These tanks are still pretty young. The 75 is only 1 1/2 years old so it's still a bit "fraggy" still, and the Solana is almost at the 1 year mark. The frag tank was born from a severe kalk overdose a few months back that almost killed my tank. Nothing like coming home after a 14hr day to a milky reef tank... I guess out of that mishap came what I was most proud of. Surprisingly, I only lost 3 corals. Almost everything that is in my tank now survived the wrath of kalk that day. My red monti cap was hit the hardest as it completely died off, but somehow there must have been just a little life left in it, because over the summer it started growing from a small spot and has almost covered the old dead skeleton. Today, everything is growing and thriving (knock on wood) and I look back on that day when I came home to a crashed tank and I'm thankful I just jumped into figuring out "how" to fix the mess that was created.
  19. Thanks! Frederick is just a quick ride for me! I appreciate the welcome!
