  1. Marco Mortar and drilling has worked for me in the past... I think of the drilling as extra insurance in case the mortar fails at some point, or if it becomes knocked and the bond between the 2 breaks... Although you could easily get away with just using Marco Mortar in most cases... it all depends on the rock's, shape, size, weight, and placements. .
  2. Yes, pick/pull as much as possible, what remains... wait for it to re-grow some to get it off the rockwork, and pull again. Make take several attempts to get it all. . Since my Yellow Tang tho'... not a Bit of Green left in my DT.lol
  3. I see 8x8'', but should one choose to stack them, what's the height in between/How tall???
  4. Nice size, for a first reef. Welcome to WAMAS, glad you finally decided to come out of the shadows, and join us in our fun and play.lol Nice equipment list as well, on the right path. .

  8. +1, I've seen his tank, pretty cool to watch... Looking into getting one myself one day maybe.
  9. Unless your getting that light for Free, or incredibly cheaper then marked, Go with a Reefbreeders LED System, or build your own. Each is fairly easy, of course just ordering a new reefbreeders, custom tailored to suit your needs, is still easier then building your own. That light is garbage compared to what you can can get for your money elsewhere... I as well almost bought that light a year or so ago, So much happier went with the ReefBreeders, much more reliable, better customer service, and much easier to work on myself... I just changed Every Single LED, on the D120,the other night, and came out Great, only used a cheap 30w Soldering Iron, and still got the job done... 1st Time as well.lol I will be posting a thread on it as well later this weekend, so you can personally see how easy it is to do.... Take your time, Do some research....
  10. Most likely, my brother's frequently pull what they need.lol, What size are you thinking??? PM me, we'll discuss details in more depth...
  11. I'm thinking it was 2 overflows, and 2 returns... There are pro's and Con's for both... That would be the quickest/cheapest route. Either way, plan ahead and ideally... Do what suits your needs and taste... NiceTank
  12. Godspeed Sir, sorry to hear about your troubles, but sounds like you got a good back.up storage tank, and a plan for the next steps... Hope everything goes smooth, easy, and fast, for the rest of this stressful process...
  13. Yeha', That tank sure it startin' to look filled finally. Very Nice, can't wait to see her blossom into a fully stocked/stacked reef tank... All good advice above.
