  1. Hi all - I'm thinking about moving mine as well. When it gets moved, does the tank need to cycle again before I put my coral and fish back in?
  2. I so want a bobbit worm..ha.
  3. Bristle worms are good. Like they said above, they are part of the CUC. Just don't touch them. I use to think they were bad when I first started my tank but now I get worried when I don't see them.
  4. Thanks for the update/info Crob. I got a little skimmate overnight but it's a tea color. We'll see.
  5. Did your PSK-150 ever start making skimmate? I'm curious because I just bought a used one and i'm concerned about the quality of this brand and the pump that came with it. I noticed the pump that came with it isn't a Sicce SK-400 like most ads show. What kind of pump is on your skimmer? The pump on mine came with is a Atman PH2000 Skimmer Pump With needle wheel impeller.
  6. Love it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  7. I'm almost to that point Squishie. Are you interested? :
  8. Cuz it was stinging more than one of my other corals :( it's stingers were really stretching far!
  9. I think it was the sand that killed it. It was doing great before I moved it to the lower part of the tank. Before it was in the middle-middle part of the tank and it was THRIVING then I moved it to the lower right sand bed and it started to slowly die. It's up off the sand now and doing good but will the polyps come back? Should I cut the dead coral off so algae doesn't get stuck on it and kill the rest of the polyps?
  10. I moved this coral from the middle of the tank where it was on some live rock to the lower right and placed it on the sand bed. Left it there for about 2 weeks then it started losing it's tentacles. I since moved it to a piece of live rock so it doesn't lose any more of it's tentacles. Will the tentacles start growing back or will it slowly start losing all it's tentacles. Also, what's the name of this coral? Thanks for the help all!
  11. How do you keep the sand so clean? Is it because of the Zeovit system?
  12. I bought this and there is too much spillage for my 15g tank. The column tank is 13.6 x 13.8 x 24.8 Has anyone ever molded their pendant to make the wide version more narrow? Any ideas of how I could reduce the spillage?

  14. Took a pic of it this morning right after turning the lights on in the room. Up close under normal lighting - polyps extended nicely I have it under a flat piece of live rock. During the day, he shrivels up and hides under the ledge. During the night, he plumps right up and sticks out. It's fingers actually stand up. Pretty cool to see it inflate and deflate. I hope this is what it's supposed to do and i'm not hurting it. I've been feeding it ReefRoids every other day.
  15. My chili coral is doing fine. He opens right up when the lights go out. Very cool how the polyps open up and it becomes alive. Hope it survives a long time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  16. I was at the WAMAS winter meeting today and ended up winning the 5 stage RODI unit that was included in the raffle. I'm so anxious to use it. Thank you for all you do for WAMAS and thanks for donating the RODI unit. Frank

  18. Thanks all the fish are doing fine Steve at Quantum said to get a pendant light fixture so im looking
  19. I have a 15 gallon tank and the cover that came with it requires a F8T5 8w 12 inch light bulb. Does anyone know where I can find a local retailer? I have a couple clowns and a nem in there now but want to add corals later so need something other than the cool white bulbs I can get from Home Depot. Thanks Frank
  20. I have the Photon32 and have swapped out my LEDs quite a few times. After a few iterations, i'm quite happy with the way I got my light fixture set up and I think I got the hang of replacing the LEDs. You have to have a steady hand, depending how big the LEDs are, and patience. GL
  21. I ENVY U! I've gone through so many little tanks, currently at a 90, and will most likely max out with a 120 due to space limitations. Welcome to WAMAS and I wish you the best. We all have our own bits of advice to offer so soak it up Keep the pics coming too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  22. Thanks for the advice all. Ive been trying to find out when its polyps have been opening but no luck so far. Hopefully they are opening when I'm at work and its eating fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
