A while back I posted about a hermit that was eating one of my new montis. Well, I finally got the time to take a photo and here is. He's by far my favorite hermits because of his color and electric blue parts. Haven't had the time to search what kind of hermie he is so does anyone have an idea?
I just cut the top of a 2 liter soda bottle and super glue rocks outside near the bottom as weights. Cover the corals and feed thru the opening.
They all eat and no one bothers them. I remove the 2 liter top when they are done.
Sell it and get some more when you are ready for an upgrade. I did this and ended up getting some better rocks from hobbyist. Ended up with some tonga branches, marshall islands, and pukanis.
I use a grid feeding clip. Works great and I don't have to go fishing for the rock.
The only thing I do is super glue the clip to a magnet float (small nano one) it holds better and easy to retrieve.
I recommend you check out the used book store here in Manassas. I've found tons of books there that would've cost me 40+ for 5 bucks. All reef related as well.
Use a 20OZ coke bottle and cut an inch below where the neck forms into the bottle and allow the bottle to sit on your sand bed. What I normally do is allow some food to come out of the bottle so the fish will go close to it and eat it. When they notice that the bottle does not move or will harm them they eventually go in. Normally these traps whether it's homemade or bought requires you to not feed your fishes for 2 days for best results. Ill attach my thread that I did when my husband caught our flame hawk with the 20oz coke bottle in our overflow.

Whatever the case is I don't know why anyone would drop 4K on a fish... Unless, you live in Dubai and drive around town in that 14K white gold eco friendly Mercedes Benz.....
