  1. I use a clamp light from HD and a cf light. I make sure my algae is somewhat tumbling or good flow and opposite light.
  2. Yeah I've never seen one like this before but tend to grow it out.
  3. Found this on the side of one of my frags... Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk
  4. I think you'll be fine. I've heard of tangs getting ich almost immediately after adding into a new tank. After a few days it's reported all gone. Something I like to do when im going to add a fish is to lower my salinity. I keep it that way for a month after my purchase then slowly bring it back up. Good luck!
  5. Wow nice zoas! What site are you speaking of?
  6. I wasnt at the meeting but heard the speaker from FL was selling some zoas/palys. Anybody purchased some? Lets see some pics!
  7. I had 2 clowns and 1 pearl eye in my 150. The percs chased him around and eventually I had to take him out.
  8. At petco......in manassas they have 2 what looks like to me clean snowflake clowns. They're selling them at $50 each. With a great QT tank this should be a great buy.
  9. I would buy them all and swish each one in the tank hoping one would come back to life.....
  10. Well..... ding ding ding. I thought it was a clam.... Here's a video of the shark swimming.
  11. Went to Centerville Aquarium for some water and brine shrimp. I was shocked in what I found there. Can anyone guess what this is?
  12. I would keep it in for a while. I had a mini colony die on me before and left the skeleton in. Before I knew it, I had new heads growing and current dead heads growing back.
  13. Change your white balance to cloudy and photos will come out better.
  14. 1st time there and had a Great experience. I purchased a leapord wrasse (always wanted one) they feed her for me, she looked healthy, clean, and playing with her tank mates! What really surprised me was that they had a ruby dragonet. My husband has been lusting over these for a few months now. Thanks guys!
  15. I have this same issue! I've managed the situation by adding live rocks up the wall of the last baffle to break up the bubbles. I've also added a 90° elbow to my return intake and that has also helped, but the rocks take up water volume and the 90° elbow can easliy be clogged by a lose piece of rubble or a fish. It may be a temporary fix but I'm also looking for a permanent fix. I have a 150g "tall"
  16. Well, when I first used them I had some pieces die on me. It was user fault especially when it fell in my tank.....
  17. Thanks for the invite may pm you next time I travel up to Baltimore. Can you upload some photos of your tank specifically the sps and colors? Thanks again
  18. I've been doing some research and need to know from AI users that are currently using sol blues on sps tanks. I'll be using my SOL over my frag tank which will be housing mostly sps and would like to know if you use any type of supplemental lights to cover light spectrum like violet, red, green, that SOL doesnt have? Thanks a bunch
  19. See if you can remove a few pieces and slide it forward. Then replace what removed and your done.. Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk
  20. It looks great! Just make sure you have room to "retrieve" any pieces that may fall behind the rock work...

  22. Here are some photos Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk
