Well I put him in my QT tank. I didnt acliment him as i should have as i had to get to bed tow ake up early for work. He seems to be doing ok. (knock on wood).

Hey i got the crab but had to physically go get him which was a big pain in the butt!!! So i have him a small container and the guy aint getting him till sat am. How do i keep him alive? Can i punch holes in a container and put back in display tank with him in it???

I tried the glass trap but the cleaner and peppermint shrimp kept taking the shrimp piece out. Ugggh

I have a 2" big emerald crab tha ti want to get ride of. He hangs out under a rock that is the bottom rock of my rocscape. How do i catch him?

I find that magnet glass cleaners tend to scratch glass.

I have been there and saw how awesome and healthy his corals and invert where!!! Ended up buying a bunch of snails! Def worth a stop by!! Thanks Richard!

Could I still get a goby with the sand i have?

My DSB is 3" deep id have to say. Now i have moved some rocks around recently and ran my fingers through the sand to move it around the rocks and everything seems ok.

Looking at the size of the sand (as seen above in the pic) i dont think a syphon will be able to suck it out.

How do you suck out a strip and then replace it with out it all mixing together. Plus isnt it high rick chance that my tank could crash?

Sounds like its not worth it just for a goby....

Ok folks i have has my RSM 130 (34 gal) set up for little over a year now and its doing great! The san i got is bigger then most sand i see in tanks. How would i go about switching out the sand with out killing everything in the tank. I know if you stir up sand bed it can release gases. I have a deep sand bed btw. Here is a pic of the sand i have in it now. The main reason i want to change the sand to a finer sand is i want a sand sifting goby!

After doing that do the pods just keep reproducing?

Hey how do you know if i have pods in my tank? Seeing Jans post really inspires me to want a Mandrain(sp?) My tank is lil over a year old now.

Housae of Tropicals sell it. I am going to get a few pieces to add to the tank pretty soon.

Someone on Capital cichlid site makes them and they are super sweet!
