Hey everyone. I have a 34 gallon RSM tank. I have been runnin gback and forth to the local fish store for ro water. its a good 40 minutes from me too. I have been thinking of getting a ro/di unit. I rent a place so i cant hard plumb it in so it woul dhave to hook up to a facuet. Any units that you all would recommend and so forth? Thanks!

I have a red sea max 130 model. I have the media basket with the tunze 9002 skimmer. I have modded the return pumps with intake tubes going father down. The return jet closest to the out side wall goes about half way to the bottom where the other tube goes almost to the bottom. I have messed with all different lengths or the intake tubes. I am still getting little bursts of micro bubbles only from the right jet(closest to the middle). All the water levels seem normal. I have taken both pumps out and sealed with with silicon. I need help figuring this issue out! Help!

What about a grounding probe, is that necessary?

Not to hack the thread, but i just got shocked last night changing the filter pad. I have a Red Sea Max 130. I dont see that link... would something like whts in the link work fo rme. i have no idea how many amps im using.

WHAT DOES A GROUNDING PROBE DO? WILL IT PREVENT AND EXLECTRICAL SHOCKS TO ME?

I have talked to Tom about this and he gave me some good pointers. Last night i got a shock when i changed out my filter pad. Anyone ever had this happen to?

Its the stock lights that come with the red sea max 130.

well its a dome shaped hollow in the middle, with slight verticle lines around it. has a tip of some sort in the middle and is smaller then a dime.

It is a clear white color like in the pic.

Yes it closes when the lights are off and is open when the lights are on. Soooo what is it? Good or bad?

Yes the white/ transparent thing. Its not all the way flat but its not a ball shape.

I found this growing on my live rock. Any ideas? Good bad?

I noticed the magnet mount in the image above is a lot smaller than the one that was sent me with the ATO controller. My question to Justin.... can you send me the smaller mount? You had just sent me the kit this week and the magnet mount in it has two other holes on either side of the pres tube to (I guess) hold tubing or whatever. Thanks.
