Its on the bottom of a rock that forms a top of a cave. Its white, looks soft not hard. Shaped like a upside down volcano. its left of the shrimp!

ORIGAMI knows so much and helped me get my tank going! As far as the ATO I went with a Avast system and do not regret it one bit. So easy to set up and maintain! I could not have done this with out Toms help and advise! Good luck with the tank and welcome to the club!

Well made the decision to play it safe and not get any new fish today as much as i wanted to and just wait for the vlevet to die off.

I used MJ600 for a tank 4' high and used air line or small pond tubing and it works perfect.

So how will i know if the tank is safe? Anything else i can do besides wait forever?

Also was told to do a freshwater dip on all new fish. anyone ?

Hey all well as i stated in my other post my 2 oc clowns had it looked like flat worms and something else (body coloring was cloudy) and they both have died since. They both looked like this after bringing them home. They looked ok at the store. Do i need to treat my tank before buying new fish????

They come out at night or when lights are off.

Why would adding fish make a difference. They come out once the lights are off.

Hey all i just got 2 occellaris(sp?) clowns last week. I have tried feeding them new life spectrum pellets, omega one flakes, and mysis shrimp which i tried a half block today. They just hang out in the rock work and wont eat. They dont seem to like to come out of the rock work when the lights are on. Lights out they are out swimming. What is going on?
