I've have several 1263 and mags at the same flow rate and would go with mag for the cost savings.

Amen, and I have used lots of pumps, buckets, nets ect that were once in hospital tanks and now used around corals and inverts. I'm also pretty sure cooper doesn't bond to plastics and glass so with a good rinse it's good to go.

Thats a lot of dead for so fast. Doubt it was ich especially with skunk clowns (very hardy). I would put my money on velvet or brook. Look up pics of those visual symptoms and see if it look closer to what your fish showed signs of.

It can but usually doesn't. You can just scrape it off if you can catch the fish without stressing it out like crazy. A cleaner shrimp would be a good idea and easy to care for.

Lymph just a virus and will go away on its own. It's an overgrowth of cells and will fall off. Nothing to worry about but ugly to look at.

I had the same problem with mine and it ended up being a combination of the filter sock I was using and the 2 part epoxy from the aquascaping. I raised the skimmer up out of the water by making pvc legs for it that were longer than the peg legs it came with.

Yep looks like dead spots. I would post up your parameters when you get a minute. We can all help from there. Could be high phosphates, fluctuation with alk, high nitrates, being stung, too much light, too much flow, list goes on and on. Any other corals in the tank? How are they doing?

That's a great question. I alway just trust what air water ice had and don't even shop around. Maybe they will chime in and explain though.
