    i used to use T5's and loved it, went to LED's and it was ok, and now i am back to t5's for a while, you can definitely keep SPS, clams, basically whatever. There are may bulb combinations you can do, my new bulb line up is the following, and they are on a 24" Sundial fixture. ATI Purple Plus ATI Blue Plus ATI True Actinic UVL Aquasun

    i made a DIY on one, should be in the DIY section. the frame can be purchased at lowes or homedepot, check the window section.

    that is certainly not a BGM, more of a pink watermelon but with so many variations now, its hard to say unless you have infor of where it came from. Either way, it is a very nice chalice.

    he probably meant that the unite he is look at is 120 one watt as opposed to a DIY with 24 wich would be 72. the AI fixtures are really nice but the price is up there, plus i think they are the only ones licenced.

    this fixtures are everywhere, i wonder the same too but after reading about one, the EcoRay, it does not have a heat sink, is it true for this fixtures also and if so, i dont know if just fans is good enough for heat disapation, they may become more problematic in the long run.

    i gave it to a friend because he has better lighting and a bigger tank. It was doing great though.

    yes i do, at first i was going to stay sand less but it looks better with sand.

    yep, i also have a birdsnest that is doing fine but its closer to the top. Water clarity is good and i am doing water changes every two to three weeks.

    they are from aqua-mags.com and are held with strong magnets, also they are reasonably priced and look good.

    i killed most of them with aiptasia x and got two peppermints for the smaller ones.

    has been set up for a few months now, after i sold my bigger set up. Tanks and fish are doing great and im happy i dont have to do much maintnance.
