  1. I was telling my husband earlier that I bet he's been coming out all this time at night or even during the day when we're at work! He was out today too for a little bit but won't stay out all day.
  2. That's no good steve, have you had him long?
  3. Sorry to hear about your BSJF, I really hope he turns up!
  4. Our yellow corris wrasse disappeared late Monday after being content and out in the open for the most part since introducing him to our tank on Sunday. My husband came home from work today and there he was swimming around like nothing ever happened. Sneaky little guy! We were ready to give up on him but were holding onto hope that he would re-appear and he did, yay!!
  5. We ended up with the long slender mag float, works pretty well but will probably need to put a blade on it to get into the corners.
  6. Well we don't have a top but the tank is flush to the wall (corner tank) and he def did not jump out the front of the tank, I've looked all over. I can't see all the way to the bottom of the overflow, but I assume if he were in there (and that close to the bottom) he would have been sucked into the sump by now and he's not in there either. I figure he's probably in the sand, it's just strange that he was out all day on Sunday and most of yesterday then all of the sudden he has vanished. He "seemed" comfortable while he was out, swimming around everywhere and none of the other fish were bothering with him. I checked from underneath the glass and can't see him there either but our sand is prob 3-4" so he could be in between there somewhere lol! ~Rebekah
  7. That's a good idea, we will try that next time! So far today things are pretty much the same, The bi-color still won't go into the rocks but he is swimming around, etc. I think he's hoping to get his home back but I'm thinking he better find a new one at this point. Our coris wrasse has disappeared BTW-haven't seen him since yesterday afternoon :/ Really liked that guy and he seemed happy. Maybe he's taking a really long nap? :/
  8. So far today things aren't going too bad. The bi-color is still feeling out of place and the Midas keeps perching in the bi-colors hole to show him who's boss, but they are not fighting like they were yesterday. The male anthias has been putting the midas in his place all day so he's calmed down quite a bit for now. The coris wrasse is awesome BTW-he acts like he's been in there forever, no one is bothering him and vice versa.
  9. Sounds good, Hopefully my BC will make it till Tuesdsay... pretty sure all LFS's are closed tomorrow.
  10. Got it from LFS... However, No room in the sump...
  11. Going to play this one by ear, but I would like to see if there would be any takers.. $35 (just bought today for $55) or trade for neon or orchard dottyback... However I would consider any cool fish.. He is too aggressive towards my bi-color. This is all based upon the situation not getting any better. Also, I would need a quick turn around time, As I don't want to lose my bi-color.
  12. May have to relocate the Bi-color.. I would hate to seem him stressed to death.
  13. Well we put the midas in the tank w/in the last hour and he is wreaking havoc on everyone. He seems to be trying to establish dominance immediately and is picking on the bicolor and also the male lyretail anthias who is 2-3x his size. I hope he calms down after a few days :/ We also bought a yellow coris wrasse and he is hiding peacefully in the sand
  14. Ok great, I think we will try it out then. Thanks!
  15. Wow nice tank!
  16. Soooo I really wanted a Midas blenny but my husband bought a bi-color instead, and he is cute and all but... I'm wondering if a 92 corner is too small to have 2 blennies in, or if you think they would be ok. I figure they'll prob get along ok after a little time passes by but wanted to see what you all think...
  17. Oh wait, we didn't have a diamond before, we had an orange spot, so that guy might be in the running too!!
  18. I love the orange stripe w/ the pistol, that might be the way to go. We did have a watchman before and a diamond goby as well and we liked them both, just looking for something different this time. paul b do you keep all of your gobies in the same tank? Our watchman and diamond pretty much kept to themselves but would fight when they came across each other. What's the black one in the 4th pic?
  19. Looking for some suggestions for a new goby, He has to be cool, hardworking (sifter) and moderate/easy to keep... Looking for something interesting, not run of the mill LFS gobies.. Personal experience preferred.
  20. Disappointing.
  21. Thinking of going with this guy.. Anyone ever own one? good sifter? http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.scubadiving.com/files/old/images/potw_images/020919PW_01_waldeck_lg.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.scubadiving.com/photos/how/paul-waldeck-boston-mass&h=316&w=487&sz=76&tbnid=b_-arkQOZavV9M:&tbnh=90&tbnw=139&zoom=1&usg=__XjSJPPibBLAZ0npskYekXg16hpQ=&docid=EpiFAv7Wr7bH-M&sa=X&ei=eyqYUYn5Ooe-4AOfiYDwCQ&ved=0CDwQ9QEwAg&dur=301
