  1. While there may not be a whole lot of "proofs" here on WAMAS, there is plenty of documentation that show that using AA's to make improvements are not speculation. I personally know of at least five people on here alone that are getting major results, as well as several others from much larger message boards. Outside of myself, and DDiver these other people are mostly lurkers, and I would think at some point, each one of them will have a TOTM on Reef Central. In reply to Jasonthefilterfreak: TBH I haven't seen any changes in my rics and or shrooms either. I really don't see any major differences in the LPS pieces either if you want to get right down to it. The significant changes are to the SPS pieces. Specifically, much fast growth, better coloration, and thicker flesh. I'm curious which one of the BW products are you using? Are you target feeding it, or just putting it in the water colum? Do you add any other supplements besides the AA's your currently using? Do you turn off your lighting when you use this? Are your pumps turned off when you dose?
  2. FWIW, I have used them half a dozen times, and have always had great customer service. Sorry to hear you have had bad luck, and hope they resolve this for you ASAP.
  3. Comparing Brightwells AA to Prodibio is like comparing apples to oranges. They are a completely different animal in that Brightwell breaks down many of the amino's in to several products, and you actually know what is in each one of them. Now your going to say but why have three types of amino's when you can get it in one product? Well not every tank is going to need exactly the same supplement, so why spend money on something you may not need. I am personally having great success with the BW products, while others are with what they are using. I'm just spending a 1/3 the cost.
  4. None of the above I use Crystal Sea Bio-Assay. It's made in Baltimore, is very good salt, and it's priced very good.
  5. Ain't it cool! Looking real good bro!
  6. Hoping it works out for you both!
  7. Curious what this new perspective is some people are talking about? Anyone care to elaborate?
  8. I heard a rumor this thing has sand, rock, and maybe even a soft coral in there somewhere. Where are the pictures?
  9. Where did you purchase it?
  10. Here are some before and after pics. The before pictures were taken on 9-14-2008 which was the week I started using the Neozeo method, and the after pics were taken today 11-28-2008, so just about 10 weeks apart. Before After Before After Before After
  11. As you wish. Special tanks to MisterTang for stopping by with his camera today. As much as I wish I had a lot of before and after pics, I only have a few so it would be a bit of work to go in and edit them to show. More to come...
  12. Judging by this pic you took for me today, I think you're getting the hang of it. Rainbow Ric
  13. Kind of funny, but my RBTA stays right in the flow of my closed loop. Hasn't moved since moving in front of it in like 3 months. I agree with the other though. Let him be
  14. Can't wait to see what this is going to look like in about a year from now. That's in insane amount of corals for thirty gallons. It should look sick, however you're gonna have your hands full with fragging. Good job! Let me know when you have some frags ready.
  15. Of all of the systems I have seen in peoples homes, that has got to be the worst I have seen. That's just nasty.
  16. Now that I am not sure of, but would also have to assume it would have some ill effects.
  17. Appreciate the kind words gentlemen, and coming from the three of you means a lot. I like all three of you're set ups as well. Huy, It was really nice to meet you as well, and I really like your collection of Tyree pieces. Anytime in the future you're ready to frag up some of your other pieces, let me know and I'll most likely be stopping in to check them out. I don't really have a whole lot in the way of info to report other than I have not lost an SPS to anything since I started the Neozeo system. I won't bore you with any of the technical info with the Neozeo system, as I really never saw the interest when I had the dedicated thread up, but I can tell you from the results I have seen, and a couple other guys here who are remaining silent, calcium reactors are over rated. Next time I get one of my buddy's with a good camera over here I'll post some shots. The results to date are IMHO outstanding.
  18. Got an exact address for the GPS crew? Congrats on the new location!
  19. When using a system like Brightwell's Neozeo, or any of the others that use the same premise [i.e. Zeofit, Fauna marin, and others], UV should not be used as it kills the important nutrients. Personally, I don't have much faith in them anyway, so I would never own one, but that's me.
  20. Sounds like typical Matthew. Tell him is uncle said to get his mind off his girlfriend. As for the crab, I'd make some soup of his ***.
  21. That's awesome Guy, congratulations! Do you have a settlement date yet?
  22. Next time I get Mister Tang over here I'll have him take some shots with a real camera.
  23. I've seen lots of discussion lately on RC, and from what I am reading the whole connection between diatoms, and silica is urban legend. I'll post the links if I run across them tonight when I am on there.
