seanoli March 21, 2015 Share March 21, 2015 (edited) Long story, short. I started a CAD Lights 8G in August and posted a thread here. Turns out the 8g display area was just too small for me so this happened: Chris at PicO is absolutely amazing, btw. The customer service is top notch and the quality of the tank is really excellent. He made this to mount my light (XR15w Pro): A few weeks later, this happened: Then this: These guys came: This guy went for a ride (super cool urchin courtesy of PEA): Then this one: This guy did not care: Picked up some friends (lobo and green plate from ERC--awesome--and the helmet and orange yuma from Bn251--also awesome!): Hated my scape: Turned it into this: Picked up an MP10, Ice-T digs it: Got some awesome sticks from miggs76, Jason Rhoads and piper27 (checked out Reefer_Madness's awesome tank and met TrueTricia): Mounted everything: I wound up getting rid of the MP10. Here's the equipment rundown: PicO 20G Tank XR15w Pro Light CAD Lights PLS-50 Elite Skimmer 50w Cobalt NeoTherm Heater Apex Jr. Controller w/ WXM and AFS modules Sicce 1.5 Return Pump Maxspect XF-130 Gyre Pump AutoAqua Smart ATO I had to get rid of the YCG because he wouldn't stop harassing my SPS. Since his departure I'm slowly starting to see some nice PE on the acros. You're all caught up now! The tank is a little over five months old now. I don't have much in the way of plans, other than letting things grow out. Edited March 21, 2015 by seanoli

I love the urchin but if it isn't glued down, he will wear it as a hat. I'm constantly rescuing snails. Great picture story! Thanks! I originally intended to post as I went along but never had time to sit down and write it all out. Hopefully I'll do a better job now that I'm caught up. smallreef March 21, 2015 Share March 21, 2015 Looks good! I think 8 is to small too once you start falling in love with corals that want to grow!
seanoli March 21, 2015 Author Share March 21, 2015 Ice T approves Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Holler. Looks good! I think 8 is to small too once you start falling in love with corals that want to grow! Definitely. Beyond just the physical space, the water volume severely limits the selection of appropriate fish. Even at 17g (actual water volume), there aren't many options. I picked up a maxima clam today from Marine Scene. I will post some pics tomorrow. Airidal March 22, 2015 Share March 22, 2015 Great pics. I enjoy seeing what folks manage to do with smaller tanks, I don't have the restraint to maintain somethign such a size.

seanoli November 7, 2015 Author Share November 7, 2015 I'm clearly horrible at this. My tank hit the one year make a few days ago and I totally forgot! Here are some photo updates! In other news, does anyone know of a non-annoying way to imbed Flickr photos?

seanoli December 19, 2015 Author Share December 19, 2015 (edited) Here's my first attempt at in-tank video. As you can see, GoPros and tiny tanks don't exactly go hand in hand, but it was still fun to do! Can't figure out how to embed Flickr videos so here's a link: https://flic.kr/p/CdCgJp Edited December 19, 2015 by seanoli
