A truly momentous occasion! Though he regularly tries, the conch rarely gets very high up on the rocks but today, he (she, whatever) crested the top.

Was digging through some pictures looking at things and stumbled across a few of this coral that were pretty cool. The poor thing hasnt had much chance to do any growing because it has been moved a few times now but it sure has colored up over the months.

Yea, it's a pain in the butt now but it sure covers the rocks fast. If you mean the stuff all over what looks like the glass, that is actually food for the fish :) The new dry rock in the middle has a bunch on it now.

Entered contract on a house today and scheduled to close April 20th. Gonna be a chaotic couple of months and hopefully relatively painless with the aquarium. There are gonna be some upset acroporas for sure. Hopefully I can keep them all alive. I wont have enough time to get the 150g setup the way I want in time; would have been nice to transfer to the new tank vice tear down, move, set back up but oh well.

Congratulations on the house!

So bittersweet (but thank you)! I'm excited to have a home to call my own and the basement will allow for a nice fish room but all the acroporas are just starting to really take off.

The rainbow delight is just starting to color up too :(

Definitely starting to get some nice growth.

Oh well, at least you're not hitting the reset button, you're just kind of pausing things!

This one has achieved weed status; not sure I'm even going to place any of it in the 150g.

It has literally grown an inch in two weeks.

What an insane second day of home ownership! Water main under our driveway broke! I was out front weed eating an overgrown yard when all of the sudden there was a river of water poring down my driveway. The river quickly turned to insanity! A 12" diameter main that runs through our front yard broke at the service connection to one of the homes across the street. It ended up pushing the entire street up about three inches over a 200' length. Was insane!

The driveway, sidewalk, and part of the walk to our home was dug up as well but the county stepped up right away and is replacing everything.

Out with the old...

And in with the new.

A small amount made its way into the basement but Servepro is taking care of that.

Anyways, the plan is to move this tank to the new place. I have a 65g that I'll fill in the "old" house tomorrow to transfer everything to. Saturday I'm planning on setting up the 75g in the new place and will probably transfer everything on Sunday. Provided the craziness ends!

Wow. Now that's a story that not many of us can tell. All's well that ends well, I guess.

Moved everything over to the transfer tank (sitting in the entry way of the house) last night and so far, I dont see any casualties. They're certainly not amused but most everything probably digs the new landscape LOL. Tomorrow I'll begin re-plumbing the 75g (currently in a 65g) in preparation for another migration.

Sorry about the image quality, I have no idea where my camera is but I reckon it's down there somewheres...

Wish I could have dropped them straight into the 150g but I still have a ways to go.

Got the 75g re-plumbed and have begun refilling; water pressure here is dismal (38-40psi) so it's going to take eons... On the plus side, input is averaging 2 TDS so I cant complain too much.
