Following along. Really like that tank and stand already, Deep Blue 75?

sweet.  are you still setting up the 200?

Nope decide not to set that one up.

Welcome back!

Thank you. Can't wait to add livestock to it.

Thanks its a pretty sweet AIO. Best I have seen yet. Not sure what Deep blue 75 means, but its a shallow 80 gallon. If that is what you mean :)

3/26/2014 tank is all cleared up with lights on top.

Oh, I see above, I missed that, it's one of the nuvos. It looked like it was a deep blue rimless, also very nice, but not AIO.

You've done a great job with the aquascape, I really like the SR-120's they have as well, but there is something inhibiting about the small allotted space in the back for equipment. Either way, it's looking really sleek, and I'm tagging along.

I love the aquascape too!

Question, are your rocks sitting on the sand or the tank bottom?

Thanks everyone. I am not 100% convince on the left side with the arch yet. It is slowly growing on me.

The rocks are actually sitting on eggcrates with about 1/4-1/2 inch of sand. Initially was going to do barebottom, but the dirty bottom would drive me crazy enough to clean it up every day.

Some little fishies are gonna have a very nice home.

I sure hope so. Current trying very hard to wait out the cycle period. Just ran some test and Nitrates finally joined the party. The ammonia and nitrites have lower as well.

Looking good. Any thought of turning the lights horizontal?

+1 Love the Aquascape !!! Turn those lights and get a Par meter  reading. Tagging along.

Thanks everyone.

I wish I could turn the lights the other way, but the AI EXT rail forces you to mount them this way.

Thanks everyone.

I wish I could turn the lights the other way, but the AI EXT rail forces you to mount them this way.

Then find another way! DIY!

Come on Man !!!!! Google it. I am sure it has been done.

I kinda feel like there must be a purpose for the manufacture wanting it to be mounted this way. At least that is what I am talking myself into believing. An option I found was to hang it off the rails that extend over to the tank. I also have one more vega that I can put in the middle section as well. I'll see if it is necessary after I get the PAR meter.

The reason was to make you buy a third light and mounting arm :)

I think with the two lights it would be more then enough for the tank if they were horizontal. Maybe slightly higher too for better spread.

Nailed it.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will consider putting the 3rd light up once I get the PAR meter. I have moved the lights slightly higher by an 1" and it is looking much brighter in the center now. Maybe I'll use the center for the low light corals .

Cheers,

Niki
