Might want to try rearranging the rockwork . The first tang is familiar with the tank and reintroducing him wont change anything. He still knows the tank. Rearranging the rockwork will make both fish think they are in a new environment .

Recently my clownfish(female) seems to have become more aggressive toward my trio of chromis and yellow watchman. The clownfish was peaceful and now all of a sudden she is terrorizing them. The yellow watchman never comes near her side of the tank or near her nem. she swims over near his burrow under the rocks near the back of the tank and steals his food and swipes her tail at him. I do feed heavy frozen and nori. In the tank I have a pair a clowns, trio of chromis, blue hippo , foxface, 1 blue eyed cardinal and yellow watchman all in a 90 gallon and none bigger than 3". She has also been cleaning like crazy. Does this mean she is preparing to lay eggs and want them out of the tank?

I didn't install my sterilizer inline. I actually just placed a pump in the section of my sump that has my heater. The pump sends the water up into the sterilizer and it returns down into the chamber of the sump with the return pump. So the water is sterilized prior to returning to main tank.

I have a 90 cube , pair of clowns, trio of chromis, watchman goby , and some inverts . I have observed my cleaner wrasse seemingly attacking my snails. I thought they weren’t aggressive toward inverts? Is this normal?

I have a 90 cube. In my tank are a pair of misbar clowns, watchman goby , cleaner shrimp , peppermint shrimp, 2- emerald crabs, cleaner wrasse , and a powder brown tang. I added a nem a few months back and within a couple weeks the clowns. Began hosting . At first the clowns were very protective of the nem and would chase the tang away setting up boundaries ( I should point out during this time the clowns were a little bigger than the tang) . Since this time , the tang has grown a little in girth and now I notice he always swims near the clowns and nem and bats his tail as if to taught the clowns into a fight. Should I be concerned with them coming to a full on brawl soon or will it just pass over between the tang and clowns? All fish are about 2.5”

Hello I purchased an emperor aquatics 25 watt UV sterilizer . I am having a tough time locating the correct plumbing to connect the sterilizer to a pump. The connections are 1-1/5” and the pump connection is 1” so I need a reducer to get the connections lined up. I know you guys deal with a lot of koi ponds and filtration. I was wondering if you have the correct plumbing connections in stock and would be available to meet at the WAMAS meeting if you are going to be in attendance. Thanks

Wow wish I knew how to breed tangs

I haven’t had fish in a few years . The last time I had fish I recall yellow tangs selling for around $50 now it looks like everywhere I look they are $100(+) am I seeing this correctly ? Where are you guys buying tangs?

I want a top for my tank. It’s a 90 cube . I would like a simple piece of acrylic or plexiglass . Since I would need to move it daily to feed fish I don’t think I want glass. Any suggestions to get a piece of acrylic or flexi glass?

I was contemplating getting a glass top . Is there someone local that makes them ? Where did you guys get your glass top? What about acrylic tops?

Hello I am planning to get back in the hobby soon after being away a few years. I have a general question it may have been answered if so , please point me to the thread. When I return to the hobby I plan on getting a RO unit . I have never had a RO unit . My question is “ If I am using a RO unit for water do I need to add anything to the water in terms of drops , etc.?

Origami I don't know what type of membranes are in the canisters so is it safe to just start over clean? I CAN find out how many GPH (50 or 75) it puts out but not necessarily what type of membrane is in the canister.
