tpallas March 22, 2013 March 22, 2013 Last Sunday I flew out to see my grandma in Cali who was not doing so hot. Unfortunately about 12 hours after arriving, she passed. I stayed longer for the funeral & arrangements. Arrived home this afternoon and my tank has 100% crashed. All of my acros are skeletons. My montis are struggling. Clams and fish are OK. In any case this tank has been a string of horrible luck. I plan on tearing it down, using live rock this time. So while I cycle the new tank I need a 10g or so holding tank for my current livestock. Anyone have an extra tank sitting around I could borrow??? Thanks!!
Jan March 22, 2013 March 22, 2013 I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother passing. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.

Incredible Corals March 22, 2013 March 22, 2013 (edited) Why don't you bring the live stock to the store and put it in the lagoon? We also have a 20 and 10 you can borrow. Edited March 23, 2013 by Incredible Corals
sachabballi reef March 23, 2013 March 23, 2013 I am very sorry your grandmother passed but am happy for you that you had those 12 hours...that in itself is a gift you should treasure...sudden loss with no closure is worse. I don't have any spare tanks but if there is anything else you need hopefully I can contribute. I lost my tank after returning home from Thanksgiving... I know the sickness you felt when you saw it...but now you can rebuild and change anything that you weren't crazy about..and pick up a controller if you don't have one...that's what I did the next day... LCDRDATA March 23, 2013 March 23, 2013 (edited) My deepest condolences on your loss. Last weekend I picked up a 30 gallon from another WAMAS member to use as a new sump, but haven't been able to do anything with it yet. He was also using it as a sump, and you're welcome to borrow it if you don't mind rinsing it out first. I also have a 15 tall last used as a hospital tank; I was using cupramine but my understanding is that carbon will remove the residue from that medication. I have Reserve duty in the District this weekend but could swing by first thing in the morning either tomorrow or Sunday and drop off one or the other (or both). Just let me know; I'll check this first thing in the morning so PM contact info if interested. Edited March 23, 2013 by LCDRDATA
Tracy G March 23, 2013 March 23, 2013 I have a 10 gallon you are welcome to. I also have a 20 long setup that is almost empty if you want me to hold anything for you till you get it going. Very sorry for you loss.
CaptainRon March 23, 2013 March 23, 2013 Sorry to hear about that tom. I've got a 15 (tall 10 gallon) and a 20 high you have borrow or keep. Give me a call and come get them.
roni March 23, 2013 March 23, 2013 Tom, My condolences. I think you've got tanks covered closer to you but I've got extra tanks and equipment as well if you need it.
YHSublime March 23, 2013 March 23, 2013 Sorry for your loss man. I'm right around the corner from you, and although I don't have a tank, I do have plenty of large rubbermaid containers that I use to hold my water, and plenty of saltwater and RO/DI on hand, let me know if I can help in anyway.
STEVE March 23, 2013 March 23, 2013 As everyone has stated, I am sorry for your loss and I,as many others have a couple of tanks if you need them.
