Jan August 5, 2012 Author August 5, 2012 The first bedroom started out as a restaurant. I wonder what an earthquake, ship or just 10 years of pressure would do to the structures. I don't know that I'd sleep comfortably in these rooms. WOW... wonder what a night there costs?? HHRRMMM
flooddc August 5, 2012 August 5, 2012 Under water hotel planned for Dubai http://www.huffingto..._n_1511501.html I guessed they have too much money and don't know what to do with it! They have towel hotel with low occupancy and yet planning to build more hotel. I don't get it!!!
Incredible Corals August 6, 2012 August 6, 2012 I wonder how much of that reef they destroyed building that hotel.

From an engineering standpoint, the forces (including earthquakes) are pretty straightforward. Assuming they do their homework, this isn't a challenging problem to solve... just an expensive one.
ErikS August 6, 2012 August 6, 2012 I wonder how much of that reef they destroyed building that hotel. They're not exactly "greenies" - same place that has a ski slope in the middle of an oven........why anyone would want to vacation in the middle of an oven I have no idea. You mean the same country that mucked up an entire coastline with the "designs w/ island building" manure? I wouldn't figure they could spell homework if you spotted them "homewor"
treesprite August 6, 2012 August 6, 2012 I'd be too scared to sleep under all that water. I don't even like driving through the Harbor tunnel.
Origami August 6, 2012 August 6, 2012 The first picture reminds me of being in a large MRI tube. If only they could project a spacious image like that, maybe it wouldn't make people that uncomfortable during tests.
