Okay, the 400w Lumen Bright has been mounted on 2x4s temporarily until I can modify the canopy this Sunday.

The plan is to cut a 21" square in the canopy, and make a 3 board mount to attach the lumen bright too. It would allow the reflector to hang down 1" inside of the canopy, so the light is fully spread out over the tank.

Do you think you need any fans to get the heat out of the canopy or will there be a decent gap between the reflector and the canopy?

I don't know. I figure I'll run it for a week; look at my apex graph, and then make a determination. It shouldn't be too hard to install some computer fans from microcenter on the sides.

OMG, that almost hurt my gut! Absolutely H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S! I know those guys on TANKED from ATM make some cooky oddball stuff, but a tank like that would take the cake
