The last year and I'm starting to get a little tired of doing it and want to have as many things automated as possible so I would like to know who makes the best auto top off that's not expensive(around $50) and where could I get one..thanks in advance

dude you cant sleep on tank beake downs... in the last month ive see at lease four dual float switch atos including pump go for around $35 if you want a brand new one easily autotopoff.com is the best for what you are looking for make sure you get a dual switch ato

I love my Litermeter III. Can do other things as well. Little pricy but worth every penny. Could try and find a used one as well.

Is the dual switch from ato.com pretty simple to setup?I am not very good at DIY stuff and figuring out confusing instructions..

 

Also what kind of pump should I use with it?would a maxijet work?

I know BRK has a line of pumps not real expensive but will get the job done. Around $11 at the cheapist which is rated at 400gph. I figure its something to just fill the sump ASAP and does not require much just water.

I have the autotopoff dual float switch on two tanks, and if I can do it anybody can. I have an aqua lifter ($15) on each and they work great.
