tbittner March 7, 2008 Share March 7, 2008 Beautiful tank! I had heard the same thing from others about Glass Cages. I'm surprised they are still in business. I'm glad it worked out for you though. And about those pics of your sump....
danskim March 13, 2008 Author Share March 13, 2008 (edited) Sorry tbittner, I'm still trying to organize the sump and back areas. Still a complete mess.. Semi-new FTS (with background): I am about to swap out the ugly white fitting with a black one. I also added about 9 frags from Atlantis Aquarium since this picture. danskim March 14, 2008 Author Share March 14, 2008 Sorry, normally I'm home only during dawk and dusk times. Here's a picture with all the bulbs though: I've made some small changes, and I'm making a few more design changes within the next week or so. I'll update with pictures then. Chris, sorry I don't have pictures of the stand because it's just bare right now. I plan on finishing the skin by the end of April.

jason the filter freak March 23, 2008 Share March 23, 2008 (edited) Arev you going to to paint that return black, make it sink into the back ground? You know you have a great tank when one of the top reef addicts in the club orders a mini clone of it. Looking good dan! I would love to stop by and see it some time. If you look at the other FTSs you can see a 6100 Stream on the Wavysea return. I had that pvc tee painted black (not at the time of the picture), but I have since taken off the Stream. The new elbow fitting is white, but I have one that will replace it that is drying from paint. I'm going to let it continue to dry for a few more days... especially because I can smell the paint on it even after 3 days. I also have a somewhat large rock structure curing at the moment. It's going to go on the left side, and a few of the acro frags you see on the sandbed will be going there. I added 4 new fish the other day - 1 Desjardini tang and 3 Carpenter's flasher wrasses. Jason, I'm free most evenings if you want to stop by. Edited March 23, 2008 by danskim
