flowerseller June 8, 2007 Share June 8, 2007 I have a nicely colored large RBTA that needs to be sliced and diced. I see 4, maybe 5, cute anemones with great color every time I look at (them) it. Clean cut with pick up same day or a few days there after. first come, first pick $69.69 each. 1. dandy7200 2. Ybe 3. Grav 4. Rebecca - Bemmer neat way to get a nice colored anemone at a decent price with a little excitment to boot. I have experienced excellent results with this technique of forced splitting. WAMAS "card carrying" members only! All slots for #1 are filled with a possible #2 see lower post.

Grav June 8, 2007 Share June 8, 2007 What an odd price! I'd like to see this trick, and if I can make it, I might as well take one. When?
Guest Bemmer June 8, 2007 Share June 8, 2007 Hi Chip, Is the RBTA that you are fragging similiar in color (no green) to the one you posted for auction on June 6? If so, I would be very interested in being put on the list. Thank you for sharing. Rebecca

flowerseller June 8, 2007 Author Share June 8, 2007 I'm in Chip Raf, I missed Rebecca's post so she's #4, but how can I resist a good guy like you? How about if I look hard into the crevaces of my set ups and find another big one to add to the mess? 3 more slots would then open up since you would then be #1 on #2. I'll look better over the weekend and post.

dandy7200 June 8, 2007 Share June 8, 2007 I think someone should bring a digicam and record the event. We can get it loaded onto the site and make it a sticky in the prorogation forum. This is why I was trying to get Calfo as a speaker for our meeting soon since he has a planned lecture/demo on this. I think it is awesome that Chip has perfected this technique and gaging the lack of RBTA's in this club and the high demand for them we need to give this some special attention. Literally 100's of thousands of anemones die every year and most all of them are collected from the wild. Focus on prorogation of these animals even at just our local level WILL make a difference. That said, Chip remove me from the list and put Raf in my spot. I would rather be the first on his list when he frags his

fry_school101 June 9, 2007 Share June 9, 2007 I'd like to come if there is room and I can make it, but whether I can or not someone DEFINITELY needs to sticky a movie and some good instructions!
flowerseller June 9, 2007 Author Share June 9, 2007 You do 1/4ths? You don't? I usually wear my 300's and splay each half out. I've got it down to wear I don't have to use a sharpie to draw a dotted cut line like surgeons do. chop chop
dbartco June 9, 2007 Share June 9, 2007 I've only seen them hacked in 1/2. This is why I was trying to get Calfo as a speaker for our meeting soon since he has a planned lecture/demo on this. We definitely tried, he is still booked through next year and lessening his commitments as well. Stil hope for next year...
