Hello all,

 

I just moved my Scolymias to their own tank (less current, less light).

They seem happier with the new home.

nice! i have never had one of those corals but they are nice looking

Never heard of it... so I looked it up.

General notes: The Scolymia Brain Coral is similar to the Cynarina lacrymalis but has more texture to it's polyp. Also known as a meat coral. Will expand very far and has sweeper tentacles that it extends at night, so provide space. Hardy. This specimen prefers to be directly on the sand.

If you have never been to see Khanh's tanks, it is worth a trip. He has an efflo that is simply mind blowing! I am a huge brain fan (insert own joke here), and the pictires he posted do not do the corals justice. They are absolutely beautiful.

jason the filter freak, the pics are under 175w 20K XM(not actinic).

I could not adjust the white balance on the nikon 8700 coolpic :(

Anybody know how?

Your back row does it for me- Blastos and trumpets/ candy canes. The Brains can grow and expand to take up huge protions of real estate. Seen Eddi's Scolymias feed heavily as well.
