Question on return pumps

My Current USA eflux pump just randomly died. Was clean and didn’t expect. About year and a half old. Not happy about.

 

Tank is running with 3 pumps and heater in tank currently. So I need to get return pump replaced asap. 
 

I have an apex. Anyone have a preference on higher end return pumps? I have a redsea 450. Ecotech, Sicci or maybe Neptune or redsea? 
 

Curious as to what people prefer. Have to order tomorrow.

I can honestly say I personally wouldn't ever spend big money on a return pump again personally. Been through my share of ecotech returns for sure. I'm in the mindset that I can buy 3 new Jebao/Jecod returns for the price of one "high end" and have multiple new replacements.

That said the Sicce and Reef Octo returns both do have good self cleaning ports so that part is nice. The reef octo is also very small in size for the output they provide.

I have a nice sicce SDV 9.0 if your looking. And a Vectra.

Danner mag drive. IMO best pump ever made. Mine last ran continuously over 10 years without cleaning until recent tank breakdown and it was a used pump.

Eheim 1260/1262s on 90-120s seem perfect to me. Love my Eheims.

Eheim and Fluval SP will never break and requires no maintenance if you are going AC route.
