  1. Hey there WAMAS family! I'm doing a report for my professional writing class and decided to write about getting more people interested in WAMAS. For this report I am to propose three recommendations to increase membership within WAMAS. If you could take a moment and share your thoughts on the following ideas and if you believe they would increase membership I would be very grateful. For each comment on this thread (one per user) I will be entering the numbers into a random number generator and pick one person to receive a frag of JF Dayglow favia. Please give me your thoughts on the following affecting membership: 1) Decreasing membership fees 2) A membership referral program where people bringing in new members get free corals or discounts 3) Having live demonstrations at meetings catered to beginner reef keepers such as establishing tanks or setting up sumps. Thanks for the feedback and good luck on the dayglow! -Ross's Reef

  5. I'm pretty new to the site although I've signed up a while ago. I've never posted anything. Well my question is quite simple. I would like to purchase coral frags, colonies, or possible sale items on this site from and for other reefers. I've been stuck on Craigslist searching day and night for deals. I'm located in the Downtown DC area.
  6. Reef eScape is now offering fresh frags from our fabulous two year old 150g display tank, available starting this weekend! 7. This is a survey to see who would be interested in renting a frag saw for use at home for a couple days. Here is what I am looking for: -If you would be interested in renting please reply, if not please don't. -Please only enter the information in this order for simple counting and averaging. -This does not bind you into actually renting one, but only participate if you are really serious. -1st number is average amount you would pay per renting event. Please list your average. If you would pay $10-$20 please use $15 -2nd number is days you would rent per event. Please list your average again ex: 1 or 2day would equal 1.5days -3rd number is the times per year you would rent it. Please list your average again . if you would rent it 2-4 time a year use 3 - So, an entry would look like this: Here is mine: $15/ 1.5 days / 3 times
  8. I just joined this past July during the annual member extravaganza(which was awesome) and I got a bunch of frags. The frags have taken off somewhat ( they are SLOWLY growing) and i was wondering, Where is the best place on this site to have someone identify a few frags for me? Id like to know exactly what they are so I can take better care of them. Water parameters are ok, not perfect but im worried my placement in the tank is off on some. Thanks!
