  1. It is a ca-1 I know Justin still has these manuals stored on our server so it is just a matter of digging up the links. The current manuals have a bunch of good and relevant info most of which applies to this one. Really, the only difference is some construction details and the co2 recirculating loop and integral bubble counter.
  2. 1. If you cam get more cal/alk out of your reactor and at the same time buffer the effluent, you will run your co2 less while attaining the same levels, this will lead to higher ph over time.
  3. Thanks for playing everyone!
  4. Who do you think cut the power? lol
  5. power outage with a 22 point spread. huh
  6. Those coupons don't stack. Combo discounts (like kalk stirrer + ato deluxe or media reactor + biopellets, etc.) will stack giving you even larger savings! As a general rule only one percentage discount can be applied per order, but the combo discounts are all in dollar amounts so any multiple of those can be stacked and one percentage discount applied on top of that.
  7. I wont be able to attend, not sure about Justin, so for now, lets say no.
  8. Biggest blowout in history was 1990 Superbowl XXIV 55-10. Guess who won? Justin is nervous about this one.....
  9. LOL Dave. You should check out what I did to Tom's Standard Twelve.....
  10. 3 Pull the trigger when you feel it is the best deal.
  11. READY FOR A SALE?!?!?!?! We are running a SUPERBOWL sale! When does it start? well, at kickoff, of course. When does it end? at the final whistle of the game. What is the percentage, you might ask??? Whatever the spread of the game is. If the score is 7-0, then you get 7% off. As the score changes, so does the amount you save!!! Log in during the game and enter the code: SUPERBOWL for your savings!!!!!
  12. keyscritters? http://www.keyscritters.com/ Live aquaria does pretty good with the caribbean stuff too. Whatcha looking for?
  13. Hey Steve! New tank looks killer, doing it right for sure!
  14. Pics half way down here. http://wamas.org/forums/topic/43202-avast-you-built-party-and-gb-20-off-open-til-20-may/page__st__75#entry366702
  15. We did a build party at fins and feathers a year and a half ago that was really fun and we gave a pretty big discount on diy gear. Might be time to start thinking about one of those soon. Was kinda like a glue sniffing social.
  16. When it tapers off does it stay consistent? Or does it just keep tapering off? Honestly, I am out of ideas and not exactly the best choice for troubleshooting a competitors product, if this was any other board but WAMAS I would tell you to sell it and buy an AVAST unit I really would follow up with MRC on the issue though, since it seems like you really have tried everything, maybe they can pinpoint the issue.
  17. Are you using ph controller? Is the co2 on most of the time and bubble count pretty consistant?
  18. I think the input flow is inconsistant. This is exagerated at the output where you have the final restriction. Does it slowly taper off after a few days or does it surge?
  19. What happens if you run the effluent out of the first chamber and bipass the secondary chamber?
  20. My opinion is that feed input line is too large. Try putting a valve on there, or restricting the flow from the mj1200. If you have some 1/4" od ro tubing you can tape the outside of it until it fits snug inside the 1/2" id tubing and make a cheapo restrictor to try it out.
  21. And if you have sufficient magnesium combined with the above you can watch those hard corals grow like weeds.
  22. So you dont dose your 2 part in equal amounts? Do you take measurements before every dose? IMHO dosing a balanced solution, measuring and correcting on a regular basis is the best strategy, doesnt matter if it is 2 part, kalk, or a calcium reactor.
  23. Steve, got a link to the exact product you have? I want to see how the input line goes into the reactor.
  24. What feed pump are you using? My guess is your problem is there assuming your output lines and valve are clean.
