  1. Congratz on opening up your own restaurant, Billy! Let me know if I can be of any assistance with the tank move. Also, make sure to post up a menu when it becomes available
  2. Looking good. Corals appear to getting some good growth and coloration.
  3. Beautiful tank, David! Love the aquascaping. Whatever happened to your Coral Hind? I really liked its vivid coloration.
  4. Tagging along. Looks like you may already be covered on the heater and Mag pumps. Let me know if I could be of any assistance.
  5. Welcome! Great looking setup. I really like the minimalistic approach to your rock work.
  6. +1. The sudden surge of water when the pumps came back online probably loosened sediment/detritus/uneaten food and other build up in the pipes. This is natural and nothing to be overly concerned about. As preventative maintenance (once a year), if you can breakdown any of the plumbing, you may want to consider letting them soak in a bath of vinegar or diluted muriatic acid solution. This will help with build up.
  7. Steve, I do my best Thanks Travis. Don't remind me it! Though, it seemed much easier getting it here than taking it out this time around. That slight grade in my back yard really hurt.
  8. Ha, never!! Actually, the tank was picked up a couple of days ago by some nice folks off of craigslist and is now good hands. Lucky for me the tank didn't sit too long. I was leasing space in front of the washer/dryer and the wife wasn't too pleasant about it. Well, it's a new "used" tank. Details to follow
  9. As of recently, I've taken down this DT. A replacement tank is in progress.
  10. Awesome build. Did you get your hands on the elites? How bout a FTS?
  11. Regarding plumbing cement, I've always had luck with both Oatey PVC All-Purpose Cement (Red Can) and PVC Rain-R-Shine® Blue Cement (Light Blue Can). No need to worry about poisoning your livestock since both cements are recommended for potable water use. Just give the cement time (several hours) to cure prior to use. Nice looking tank, btw!
  12. 3 Thumbs Up and Happy Holidays to you!!!
