i dump water in to my auto top off unit straight from the tap never checked nitrates in this tank... ever nor nitrites... nor amonia but everythings living just dandy haha i also dumped kalk directly into the sump once... wont be doing that any time soon

i personally would go with black osc. or even the skunk clowns too... the main thing is the size of the tank.. depending on the size of the tank (if its big) then the maroons shouldn't bother anyone. I had a mean maroon who was very aggressive and bit anything (including me) near her anenome but other than that she acted very relaxed.

I had macros in my 20 and personally didnt like it in my fuge i had the proper lighting and all... i would go with a buncha rubble like you just said -that works well in my opinion. and id also go with a maxijet in there such as a 900. For lighting id go with a PC fixture since you dont plan on any harder corals? Good luck! and keep us posted

this could be a very creative idea, kinda like taking that pond foam and putting it in the middle, then lining that up with rocks to make it look a little more natural but cleaning the glass could be a pain i think. if i were gonna combine 2 tanks id get one at least 6 feet long like a 125. yes, you were able to have both tanks sump-less because they were relatively smaller tanks. with the larger tanks youd def need a sump. if i were you id try to sell both of the skimmers or trade* for a octopus or something along those lines... i personally like the octopus RECIRC 200 (i think i havent looked at em in a while). good luck! I had it about 3 weeks ago It was under MH before i havent checked my nitrates in ages, ill get a test kit today And no, i havent changed any chemicals, but i havent dosed iodine in a while now that i think about it I have it in low-to-moderate flow I feed it ever 4 or 5 days with some mysis or cyclopeeze

Hey guys, i have a rbta thats bleaching out a bit, could it be that i have too much light? (i dont think so but idk) 175 wt MH on a 20 L... idk what else it could be i been feeding it mysis im probably gonna feed it a shrimp tommorow... any ideas or thoughts? Thanks Akbar

i had a yellow tang for a very long time in my 55 way back in the day and it did fine, just get it small and let it grow up , worst case scenario it gets too big sell it and get another.

you dont need a shrinking machine you just like the tank grow into the tang

IME lemon peel tangs will get large -there a part of the acantherus family and that family includes biggies like the hippo and powder blue. I'd go with a tomini tang if you really want one. id also get a christmas wrasse or a royal flasher wrasse if you get sand and def make sure to cover the top up.... i wouldnt mess with any damsels besides clowns and even then you have to be careful of maroons and GSM's ill add more after dinner
