Hey guys I have a 20 L with a 175 MH which is heating up pretty quick. I'm probably going to put a bigger fan in the canopy. I was wondering if anyone knows of any nano chillers which arent too pricey but the smallest rating for a chiller ive seen is for a 55'. Thanks in advance Akbar

for a skimmer id go with a aqua c-remora HOB. for rock i would really do with dry rock its cheaper and you make sure that you dont have any crazy mantis shrimp or anything in it. it turns out to be the same as regular live rock in the end, just seed it with a couple pieces from well established systems.

double ended is the same thing as HQI- i have no experiance with them, however i hear that HQI are supposed to be better for long term- they last longer. Id be interested in the answers as well.

Hey guys, I just took my seaclone off my 20 and put my octopus NW150 (skimming thick) on it. Now im thinking about putting the seaclone on as a a calcium or kalk reactor since i want to start moving over to SPS. (btw my system is a 20 L with a 10 g sump). I was wondering if anyone has modded a seaclone to be a reactor or might have any tips.

I like the chevron alot but as it grows older it becomes very dark in color and doesnt look anywhere as near as pretty. You could go on to get a copper band butterfly if your looking for decent sized showfish and just get the tomini and the option of getting a small hippo is always there.

if i were you id get a tomini and then later if you want get a purple. For the most part - if you get two different types (acantherus sp? and zebermousa sp?) you should be ok in a 90. I def recommend against getting a hippo tang though, they need ALOT of space and alot of people end up cramping them up in smaller tanks.

I'd be lying if i said i read the whole thing but if your looking for wrasses the royal flasher, ornate and radiance wrasses are all among my favorites. especially the ornate! the only thing is you must make sure you have a canopy to stop em from jumping out.

Everythings going pretty good - just switched over to vho's and i dont like em too much i got two of the blues and 2 whites... it just looks way too pink/blue/purple/whateveryouwannacallit for me. I'm gonna try to trade the icecap 660 ballast and vhos for a 175 w or 250 w mh setup. other than that- everythings going good! Hows your beast of a tank doing?

Hey, I thought i'd introduce myself, my names Akbar, and I'm a part of CMAS and plan on joining wamas in a week or two... I have a 20 gallon long with a 10 gallon sum with fuge along with the most horrible skimmer in the world... aka seaclone. Im going to take out the fuge soon and put in my octopus NW 150 soon (over kill i know). I have alot of zoos and softies mainly only a couple SPS. I want to get more into SPS, and ill probably end up trying to mod the seaclone into a kalk reactor or calcium reactor(not quite sure yet). I'm a student at howard community college finishing up prereq's for the RN program. After I get my RN I want to go on to do the accelerated bachelors and masters in nursing 2 year program at CP then go for the nurse anesthetist certification. Take care. Akbar
