I also have 2 MP10s on the 70G and find that on the reef crest mode, the flow is somewhat lacking. The 6105 added what I need but I dont have a controller for it. One 6105 with a controller might do the trick though. It is something that I haven't tried.

The 6105 is a lot of flow for the 70G if you crank it up to the max value. I have one on mine and is set at the lowest level. It still packs a punch though. If you have sand, you might a lot of it blown around.

I have the same tank Tony and have 2 MP10s. They are great but I dont think the flow is enough. I like them more than the MP40 though since u can place the MP10 is small and you can get 2 of them for different placements at the same price as a MP40.

This thread peaks my curiosity in them. I had a huge problem before with nitrate. It was off the chart and I went down the sulfur reactor route. In about a month, my nitrate is close to 0. Is NP better than a sulfur reactor? Should I switch or keep using what i have? I didn't know that NP can also bring down phosphates. I thought it was only nitrate.

My friend got out and is selling his tank. It is a Oceanic 37G tank 24x18x21. Comes with stand and PowerCompacts lights. I think he is keeping the Fluval filter (pictured). Asking $160. Mod: I think this post is okay here but if it is not, please move and I apologize in advance.

Where did you get the track and hangin sockets from? Are you using Par38 14K or 20K?

Sulfur reactor works great for me. My reading was off the scale and after 2 months, it went down to close to 0.

Thanks for the replies. I am a fan of LFS, especially Aquaco but they dont carry IO. BRK and Fins and Feather are too far for me. My only options in the past were SuperPetz (which will not get my business) and Marine Scene (dont want to go there). I have always use IO but then heard that I shouldn't switch brand because of some bad side effects. True or urban legend? I dont mind buying another brand and support Aquaco.

Where do you all go to buy IO? Who has the best price?

I recommend the Reeflo 200 skimmer. It is pricey but well worth the investment.

I saw it today with my family. They did a masterful job. The reef tank is spectacular. Lots of colors from all the fish, SPS, LPS, etc. I was lucky to be there during feeding time and it was great to see the swarm of fish around the food. I remember the aquarium they had before the renovated. Is that the same gigas clam from years back?

Does anyone have one that I can borrow to see if my ballast is dead or not?
