I've asked the dist. of the product and they say they havent heard of that happening. so i called American Marine and he sent me a new one....still doesn't work. Is that an aquacultured monit? If so I have seen them with some sort of commensal flatworm that is completely brown in color and always local to the monti's. I have seen these buggers cause browning and spot necrosion. I always shake tthe monti's in FW with iodine for about ten seconds and if the worms are on there than they'll fall off. sean

if you notice further recession of tissue on the monti dip it in kent marine tech D. i swear by this stuff as it is a mild disinfectant and coral conditioner. i've used it on several coral genus' with great success. it contains high levels of iodine and bromide so don't get any in your tank. dip for 5-6 mins, rinse, and replace. Sean

Im using CS Bioassay on all of my store tanks and all of my service tanks. Switched immediatly from IO...no issues. 10% water changes weekly as a ritual.
