  12. You made the right choice...............can never go too big.
  13. Perhaps I missed it but which skimmer are you going with?
  14. Make sure that when you cut the tubing, it's an even clean cut all the way around. You could try wrapping some Teflon tape around the tubing also. Personally.......I use the BRS type as only one piece and it's simpler.

    Keeping the intakes clean does not keep the neck clean........if I'm understanding what you're saying.

    I have the Deltec AP702 and the intakes tend to clog due to the all the air, dust, salt creep etc. being sucked in. I "shoot" fresh water through the air intakes daily and that seems to help.
