I know a number of folks who gravity feed their skimmer. You just have to make sure that the gravity feed will send enough water through the skimmer.

I have a very territorial Yellow Tang that was moved to my sump when I added a baby Naso. How long should I keep him there before re-introducing him to the tank? I don't want him to pick up where he left off.

First off, let him defend himself.....this isn't your battle. Secondly, he brought this on himself when he posted the video. He basically ASKED for it in the post title. Last - nobody is scapegoating anyone. If ANY other member showed what he did they would get the same result. Ron - I had the flex problem on one of my sumps. I just cut a piece of acrylic and glued one end to the middle of the flexing piece and siliconed the other to the glass. It doesn't have to be very large and it will help to support. Another option would be to have a piece of glass cut as the refugium baffle.

For those of you who are running carbon, what do you find to be the best way? Putting a bag in the sump? A fluidized reactor? I have a 220g tank. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I think what gwweber meant to say was that HE was happy, not the fish. Who cares what's going on with anything in the tank as long as there are pretty colors to look at. When it dies, he'll just buy another one........until it dies. Oh, and the 150g DD is only 36x36.

Two Tunze 6105s will handle that tank nicely......and not as loud as Vortechs. You saw my tank today.......that has 2 6105s and they have the jumper in the slow the flow. Eric Leeds has 2 on a 72" tank and he could use the more powerful jumper either. You won't regret it.

You can look at my Bean Animal when you stop by today. It's really easy to do.
