  1. My suggestion is to fix the problem... Find out how they get it and put a screen (chicken wire) over it. Most ultrasonic repellers are not rated for attic temperatures and will melt and eventually become a fire hazard.
  2. It is all taken... Thanks for the inetrest.
  3. Yes and it was not an easy decision.
  4. I have 10G drilled tanks (3 nos), a CPR HOB skimmer, wet/dry filter, partially used chemicals, carbon, salt, styrofoam boxes to ship fish/coral and a bunch of plastic bags to pack fish. The only caveat is that you must take it all. Interesed, please PM me and I can meet you at Burke Center.
  5. Have you checked your basement for RADON? It is present even in above ground basements.
  6. If the clowns are tank raised, more than likely they will never host in an anemone.

  10. I would also help to find out what caused the ICK outbreak - stress? water? temperature? If you do not correct the catalyst, ICK will return. Unni

  16. Unfortunaltely I had to watch them starve to death... I wish I had know the facts before importing those beauties. The guy at the other end only gave me an hour to pick a few alternatives when he ran out of the ones promised. Some fish are better left in the ocean! I hope you have a different outcome. Unni
  17. Dave, Sorry to have sent you to the reefland person. While attempting to keep my Myers alive, I had come across his site and it seemed to indicate that he was willing to help another individual. Oh well - Unni
  18. I would suggest turning off bright lights for a day or so. Unni.
  19. Add an airstone to the sump to aerate the water (or use the diffuser attachment on your powerhead).
  20. Looks like fin rot.... If it is , then you need to Quarantine it immediatley and start antibiotics.
  21. Could be sponge as well.
  22. One of my hermit crabs trying our different shells was by far the most interesting activity I have seen in my tank. He kept switching between his original shell and a new one for approximately 10 minutes - at which time he decided to stick with the original.
  23. Did he carpet surf... They are notorious for jumping out if threatened.
  24. Try using airstones instead of the plastic air adjuster. Worked for me in the past. Unni
